John felt nothing but anger when he arrived at home. When he got out of his car and walked to the front door he could hear a "Joyous" episode being played and that angered John even more.
"MICHELLE!" John yelled furiously.
Naturally, Michelle heard that from the lounge room and started to feel nervous. The second he entered the lounge room she felt scared.
"Thanks a hell of a lot!" John shouted.
"What are you talking about?" Michelle asked.
"What am I talking about? Don't you know? Aren't you the kind of girl that wouldn't forget anything?"
"John, I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Well, maybe this will jog your memory! Natalie called here earlier and told you to tell me that our date has been cancelled because her brother had come down from Bundaberg!"
Michelle instantly started to look and feel guilty.
"John, I'm sorry," Michelle said. "I meant to tell you-"
"But you didn't!" John said interrupting. "God, all you have to do was give me a message!"
"John, I'm sorry,"
"So am I and I'm sick of you screwing up my life! God, it would be great if you were out of here!"
"I can't wait for the day you can move out because I'm sick of living here with you, too!"
"Good! Then we have something we can agree on!"
Then John started to walk out of the lounge room.
"Where are you going?" Michelle asked.
"None of your business!" John exclaimed.
"Then get some pizza while you're out," she said sarcastically.
"Fuck you!" he replied.

John didn't go out for pizza as he had something more important on his mind. Although he knew they weren't going out he decided to check on Natalie. He knew he wasn't going to be allowed inside the house but he wanted to make sure she wasn't being abused as he had no idea what her brother was really like. So he parked his car across the street and saw the lounge room curtains were opened. Natalie, Mrs. Ray, Mr. Ray, and Matthew were all standing. John couldn't make out what was being said but it was obvious that they were arguing. Then Matthew saw John and started to walk to the front door. With no other choice available to him John started his car and drove away.

By the time John got home, he hated himself for leaving Natalie's house as it had made him feel like a coward. As he walked to the front door he didn't hear anything being played from the lounge room television. He thought that was weird as he thought Michelle would still be up. But as he entered the house and walked into the kitchen he got a surprise he wasn't expecting. The Stranger was standing in the kitchen looking through the kitchen drawers. Seeing him there made John feel both scared and angry.
"Hey!" John said trying to hide the fear in his voice. "Who the hell are you?"
The Stranger looked at John without saying a word. That made John even more scared and angry.
"Get the hell out of my house!" John said with his voice shaking.
The Stranger held up his right hand and forced John to sit down on one of the kitchen chairs. He couldn't believe what was going on and felt very scared for Michelle.
