The Prince's Mate

After he saw how Yuuna and (M/n) were clinging to each other and no sign of the white haired vampire he knew things were going to be hard for a while. Usually after a Code red people acted carefully and didn't bring attention on themselves but this school seemed to be different, not in a good way, they started to act like nothing happened. Sure it was only one student but a Code red was extremely dangerous and everyone knew this.

Katsuro couldn't help but wonder. Was the Human side aware of what happened ? If they were, they probably were calling them monsters again. If they weren't, they would just act like they did before with nothing troubling them. What the purple haired vampire knew was there was a human who is friend with the Prince, he did hear Yuuna and (M/n) talk about him sometimes and he did hear about him being their friend's soulmate.

Katsuro wasn't stupid, he was far from it, he knew something happened to trigger the bloodlust of the small vampire. He also knew that both Yuuna and (M/n) already knew what caused it. He mentally wished for (M/n) to take care of his Yuuna for a while. If they weren't going to tell him, he was going to find out by his own means. The only lead he had was that Ayumu went to the space between the two sides whenever he could.

Katsuro knew about the rumor about the Prince's best friend being a human so it wouldn't really surprise him to see the pure blood in that space too. What a small world, the prince and his best friend in the same school, how convenient, right ? When he arrived he recognized the girl too, the Genkishi girl who was often seen with the Prince. Something clicked in Katsuro's mind. The human boy was his best friend, the girl was the human's sister, she had to be, and the three of them had to do with what triggered the bloodlust. Because why wouldn't the Prince go and see his best friend when he wanted ?

Usually Katsuro would stay away from conflicts but he knew how important Ayumu was to Yuuna and (M/n), the three were family to each other. Being Yuuna's soulmate made him enter this small family and he had his own rules to protect his family, his two fathers and this small group were family, anyone hurting them were going to be the targets of Katsuro's anger.

When Katsuro entered the space, all eyes were on him. The girl was on her guard as she could almost feel his anger, the fact that he was glaring did help knowing he was angry. Yamiko's instinct was to put herself between her brother and the purple haired vampire. His eyes were glaring at the human, if looks could kill the human would have been dead for a long time.
"Why are you here Tatsuya ?" he heard her ask.

"I need answers Genkishi and I'm pretty sure you know what it is about."

"If it's about the Code red then we can't do anything for you." She told him. He barely registered the human quietly asking what a Code red was.

"Then how do you explain he became like that after coming here ?" She became silent, shock written on her face as the human was confused. "Why don't you explain to your human that you made his soulmate insane and that said soulmate will be locked up because of it ?" Katsuro wasn't cruel but it needed to be done. He knew she felt guilty, the Prince probably was too, when they heard about it but he needed his answers and that human need an explanation. Yamiko sighed deeply, her whole body shaking as she did so. "It's not like we wanted this. It wasn't supposed to happen. See, our family is a family of Hunters. Neither of us are Hunters though. But that family of ours killed Min's, we wanted to hide it." She was in tears as she explained.

"I'll take it that he overheard you then..."

"How so ?"

"You probably haven't noticed Genkishi but he always comes here whenever he can, well could."

"We really should have checked that day and we know it. This is what we wanted to avoid, you know?" Her brother hugged her tightly as she sobs. "We saw how his friends were too. I'm sorry we separated you from your soulmate, I saw he wasn't seeking comfort from you."  Katsuro truely wanted to say something else but they too were hurting, he was the guilt eating her and he wasn't going to make it worse. He did feel his anger vanish, how could he be angry towards people who felt that guilty ?
He left the siblings to comfort each other and went straight to Yuuna, himself couldn't do much except comfort his own soulmate.

All they could do was wait.
