I'm hungry
I hadn't felt hungry
I didn't know I was hungry
I hadn't eaten in 24 hours
I didn't feel hungry
But once you have a bite of something
A nibble of a cookie before giving the rest away
A single crouton before rejecting the rest
You realize that you're empty
Your stomach is empty
And the hunger comes
I didn't feel hungry before
I felt ashamed that I didn't feel hungry because if I'm not hungry I'm fat
But now I'm hungry
My head hurts
And I'm dizzy
And this
Is not joy
