ANGELES POV
Its been several years and I am now alone in the villa with my kids, I have been working as a secretary in a law office under a fake name. I have changed my appearance since my mom, dad and Guadalupe left to go back to the pack. I still talk mom and dad, they don't tell me anything about the pack since I told them I didn't want to know anything about them. All I wanted to do was concentrate on my kids, raised them to be better than me, better than their father. I walked into the office, went directly to my desk after dropping the kids at school. The phone started to ring and I picked up and answered like I have for the past 8 years, using my fake name of course.
"De La Vega law firm this is Mary how may I direct your call today" I said
"Well hello Angeles how have you and the kids been" the person on the phone said
"I am sorry, my name is Mary not Angeles" I said
"No your not, your name is Angeles Atonela Ramirez, your children's names are Jeronimo Napoleon Ramirez Juarez and Dulce Guadalupe Ramirez Juarez" the person said
"Who is this and how do you know all this" I asked
"I only have to ask you one question Angeles" the person said
"What is it" I asked
"Do you know where your kids are at this very moment" the person said
"You stay away from them" I said
"What are you going to do about it" the person said
At that moment I hung up the phone, grabbed my stuff told my boss I had an emergency and left to my kids school and picked them up. I packed some of our stuff as I called mom and dad to tell them what was going on, they said that I should go back to California were they could help me in case I ever needed their help. They also said that they were going to tell the Alpha and Luna about what was going on so they would be prepared to help as well, they promised not to tell Benito about me and the kids returning to California as well.
JERONIMOS POV
I heard a knock on the door and I put my papers on my desk, I called out to come in when I saw Dulce, Napoleon and Guadalupe on the door walking in together.
"What is it" I asked
"Some one is after Jeronimo and Dulce" Guadalupe said with a scared expression on her face
"What do you mean some one is after Jeronimo and Dulce" I said
"Angeles just called and she said that someone called and said that someone called her at work and asked her if she knew where the kids were, she is on her way back here" Dulce said
"Okay what time is she arriving" I asked
"Don't know, she just said that she was packing her stuff and the kids stuff and we told her to come back here so we could help her if she needed the help" Napoleon said
"Okay try to get ahold of her and see if you can find out what time she and the kids will be here, then tell her to go to the hotel that is near here that way she will be close by in case anyone does try to hurt her or the kids" I said
"Okay I will try to get ahold of Angeles right now and tell her what you said" Napoleon said
"I will try to find out who is after the kids and why do they want them" I said
"Who is after Angeles and my kids" Benito said
We all looked at him in shock, how long has he been standing their. How much has he heard, he hasn't been out of his room since the mate bond was broken, he would only come out to get food and take it to his room, eat it then bring his plate down and then get back to his room and just stare at the picture of him with Angeles and the kids. We found out that Angel had planned everything to go down as it did the day that Angeles lost the pups, Angel had seen her open the and manipulated the way that Benito said the things he said only to hurt Angeles so she would leave and she could have Benito for herself. What she didn't expect was for us to find out and send her to the prison at the kings castle for what she had done, Benito tried to get us to tell him where Angeles and the kids were so he could go and explain himself but we didn't tell him because we all made a promise we wouldn't do it.
"I asked who is after Angeles and my kids" he asked again
"We don't know" Dulce answered
"What do you mean, you don't know" he asked again
"Someone just called her and asked her if she knew where the kids were, she got scared left her work and packed some of her and the kids stuff and got on a plane back here" Napoleon said
"What time will they be here" he asked
"She said she should be here by 3" Dulce said
"I will go pick them up and bring them here" he said
"She doesn't want to come here" I said
"She still thinks that I don't love her" he asked
"Benito she asked us not to mention anything that had to do with the pack, she only wanted to focus on raising the kids and nothing else" Dulce said
Benito only nodded his head and left the office, without saying a single word. We assumed he had gone to his room like he always did and didn't think much about him anymore, we had to concentrate on who would want to hurt the kids as well as why. I started to call around and asked an old friend to try and trace the call made to Angeles in Italy, we had to try and get a lead. By the time the clock struck 2, I went outside where the few fighter I was going to take with me were waiting to go to the airport and make sure that Angeles and the kids made it safe to the hotel.
