I knew my eyes were flickering between silver and gold and I let them, I let my power take over and I hadn't in so long. Lucifer tried to grab my hand but was flung back by an invisible force. The wind around me swirled and howled inside this room, the windows behind Dragon shattered loudly and everyone screamed before I sped across to him and gripped his throat in my vice grip. He remained passive but I knew it was hurting to some extent, I felt my hand crushing him.

"Bring him back now!" I roared, my voice didn't even sound like mine, it had an eerie echo and hollowness to it that even scared me. Dragon smirked and shook his head.

"I will kill you! Bring him back" I sneered as my grip intensified, I saw Kristiana in the corner of my eye sobbing erratically and Lucifer pleading with me to calm down but nothing mattered until Kaden was safely here with me. His eyes started to lose color but he never yielded, I smirked before thrusting my hand in his chest, he wheezed and coughed up black tar, which was what his equivalent to blood was. I grazed his heart with my fingers while my grip never wavered from his throat, I knew if I pulled his heart out he most likely wouldn't die.

"Liana! If you kill him we will never get Kaden back!" Lucifer roared above the howling of wind which echoed through the room. That hit me like a ton of bricks over my head, he was right, this fucker secured his life by taking mine.

Slowly the wind died down and I felt my eyes regain their normal color, I released Dragon's throat and pulled my hand away from his insides, I flicked away the excess tar that coated my hand and glared at him.

"Where is he?" My voice which was once powerful, cracked and I felt weak. Dragon coughed before he sat up and looked up at me with a smile.

"That was a cute party trick my love but we need to work on your full power"

Party trick?!

"Look, I'm not doing anything until Kaden is back here!"

"You see, you will because he is not coming back until you unleash what you have inside" I almost cried out at that, but I didn't because this fool will never get the pleasure of seeing me cry.

"I don't know how" I pleaded, I would do almost anything to get my husband back, I didn't care, I would unleash my power as he put it and strip my mother of her power for Kaden to be back with me but I didn't know how! I felt like my hands were tied and I was incapacitated, I was powerless and I couldn't see a way out of this one. I knew Kaden would never want me to do what Dragon wanted but he would do anything to get me back and I felt the exact same way! Hell, he swallowed his pride and went to Lucifer to get me back after I went with my mother.

"Well, we will work on that" he said nonchalantly before standing up, no one spoke a word, I think everyone was in shock.

"Is he alive?" My voice quivered as I asked the dreaded question

"For now" he replied with a smirk before he walked out of the room followed by his guards. As soon as he was out of sight, my knees buckled and I fell to the floor sobbing in pain, I could feel a sliver of him in my heart but it was weak, I clutched my chest and bawled.

Please don't let him die, I'd do anything I just need him to survive.

I repeated that over and over in my head until I felt numb.

"Liana" Lucifer whispered next to me, I ignored him and wiped my cheek even though it was futile since tears continuously streamed down.

"Bring him back please" I said softly to which he sighed loudly, he pulled me by the shoulder and my head slumped on his chest

"I think he is in the human realm" he muttered, my head shot up and I stared at him with teary hopeful eyes, he offered a weak smile but gestured for me to be quiet.
