I love rains (Katara x female reader)

Reader's POV
It was almost midnight. You were walking towards your house from another "good" date. It started to rain and of course you hadn't taken an umbrella.
"How can I be sooooo lucky to have the worst date ever and be wet because of the rain in one evening."
You said to yourself. Then you felt someone's arm on your shoulder. When you looked up you saw young boy maybe your ages with the umbrella. (A/N: I actually don't know did they have an umbrella in what time they are, but let's pretend like they had already had.)

"Young,beautiful ladies shouldn't walk alone at night. May I walk you home. I am Sokka by the way." Maybe it sounds really creepy, but the boy looked so innocent. You heard steps behind your back and someone spoke.
"My deep apologies for my brother. He can be strange and stupid sometimes. I'm Katara. We can walk you home, if you want. I see you got wet. We can help, just say." You turned your head towards the source; only to see a girl around you age, smiling nervously at you.

You felt your cheeks heat up slightly, observing every feature she had: her ocean eyes, the way her dark hair framed her face, her beautiful smile.
"I will be very grateful if you help me. I am living in ten minutes from here." After you said that you quickly turned around so no one could see your red like fresh blood cheeks. You had never felt that way near the strangers. As much as your brain wanted to resist her offer, your heart was saying something like that: "DO NOT YOU DARE TO SAY NO. HAVE YOU SEEN HER? SHE IS LITERALLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL YOU HAD EVER SEEN. JUST SAY YES!!!"

The young boy seemed to lost his interest in you. His smile faded and he started to walking in the opposite direction of my house. "I am sorry Katara but, I need to help Toph with the drawings. So, I am going home."
"What are you talking about Sokka? Wait a minute! You need to help TOPH with the DRAWINGS? If you had already forgotten she is blind, she can't draw." You noticed that she started blushing as said that. You can say 100% that she was embarrassed and maybe it made you more self-confident.
"That is exactly why I need to help her. Can't you understand? Don't make something stupid!" He said and disappeared from sight. That's not that you didn't like him it's just that he seemed a little bit dumb. So, you two started your way home.

Katara's POV

We were walking like 10 minutes now and I still didn't regret that I offered her my help. My brother took the umbrella with him so I had to use waterbending.
"That's my home. Thanks for your help. I didn't even think that it would be raining." She said pointing to large building. As I understood she was living alone in a big house. I know that someone like Sokka or Toph will say that she is very lucky to have such a big home, but for me... I think it is very hard. I mean she has to clean it alone, be there alone...completely alone. I don't know why, but I didn't want to leave. These 10 or 15 minutes while we were walking, I was enjoying her presence, her voice,her features, her everything. I have forgotten about every problem which I have now, also my past problems about fire nation,about my mother, about avatar and everything. There was just me and her and no one on the street. Now in my head was only one mission... I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH HER.
" Sorry, can I stay in your house for a night. I know that it may sound strange, but I am a little terrified to walk home alone so late in the evening."
It was the only thing that came to my mind. I don't think that I will regret it, and I hope she will let me stay.
"Oh,of course. I am the reason why are you so late at night on the street, it will be very rude to refuse you. Also I am quite enjoying your company,so to be honest I'm not against it at all." Our faces became red at the same time. I couldn't help but chuckled. She was so cute that I thought I'm gonna to faint.
I think she felt more embarrassed so she just turned around and came to her door.

When I came inside I saw that everything was clear and matched the style of minimalist. There was a kitchen and stairs to the second floor. Actually the first thing that I saw was a large carpet with a sign of fire nation on the floor. After I saw table and some cupboards in the corner. Also, there was a large door to the bathroom, as I thought. Only now I have understood, that I still don't know who is she: waterbender, firebender, airbender or earthbender.
"Sorry for a lot of questions, but are you a firebender? I'm not saying that it's not OK or bad I'm just curious." At first she was silent. I thought that she hadn't heard me, but then she spoke:
" I'm not a firebender. My father was a firebender and my mother was earthbender. My father left us when he understood that I am like my mother: earthbender. Actually I rarely use it, because I suck at control. I used to live like a normal person."

Then she showed me her room and the room where I was supposed to sleep. They were simple,but comfortable at the same time. She gave me some new clothes, because mine was a little bit wet. Then we went to our rooms. At first I couldn't sleep I was just thinking about her. Soon I fell asleep, but I can bet it was already 4 AM or close to it.

~15 years later~
Author's POV
"This is how I met your mother Y/N. I will always remember this day as the happiest in my life. Now let's go to the kitchen by the smell I can say,that someone has cooked us our favorite...pancakes." Katara stood up and went to kitchen with two little kids running after her (adopted of course). She stand near the table and was ready to grab one pancake.
"Wash your hands first. I see K/N and K/N had already done that. (K/N- kid name. Which you want.) Don't you want to set a bad example for them?" A beautiful woman was leaning on the wall with a smirk on her face. Katara laughed a little and went to the bathroom. While she was washing her hands she heard raindrops hitting the roof.
"I love rains."
