Y/N's POV:

I was walking through the mall with my girlfriend Toph. I held her hand as she was telling me a lot of different stories about her friend Aang.
"You can't even imagine how cool twinky toes is. We were on top of the hill, fire solders were reaching us and he activated his avatar state and BOOM BOOM then SHHHH and they all were under the ground and then..."

To be honest, I don't like when all she is talking about is Aang. Yes, I like him too. He is funny, friendly but sometime Toph doesn't even pay attention to me because of young avatar. At first I was jealous but now I don't even care. I know she loves me and I am trying to make her happy by pretending like I am listening. I mean I always listen to her, but now my mind was processing something more important.

We were walking just towards a very familiar figure. I know that I have seen this silhouette before, but who it is?

As we walked closer my curiousness won and I left Toph's hand telling her that I will be in a minute. She simply nodded and I went towards this strange person. As I came extremely close I could smell a familiar scent. I tapped the person on the shoulder and he turned around. I quickly understood who it was and smiled widely.

It was M/B/F! I haven't seen him for ages. He smiled too and hugged me tightly.
"Y/N! Is that you? I missed you so much." He kissed my cheek and grabbed my hands gently.
" *cough cough* Y/N who is it?"
I turned around to see Toph, grinning scary. I went up to her and pulled her to where me and M/B/F were standing.
"It is M/B/F! We were best friends in our childhood. Oh! Almost forgot! M/B/F this is Toph."
I said patting her shoulder slightly.
"Nice to meet you, Toph!" He extended his hand hesitating on should he do it. He understood that she was blind and was little unsure on what to do.
"Toph Beifong for you! And I am not going to shake your hand." She brushed of my hand from her shoulder and crossed her arms.
"Wait aren't you blind?"
"Even if I am blind that doesn't mean that I can't see you kissing my girlfriend and holding her hands."

M/B/F chuckled slightly and scratched the back of his neck.
"Haha sorry I thought that it is what friends do. That wasn't on the lips, was it? Don't worry we are just friends." After finishing this sentence he slapped my butt playfully. I laughed nervously and covered the place he just slapped with my hands so it wouldn't happen again. I saw a furious look on Toph's face and was slightly afraid of what she could do to him. I quickly went to her, took her hand and smiled slightly.

"Mm... sorry we have to go. Maybe we will see you again. I hope!"
"I know that we will meet again. Haha! Okay if you need something my number is still the same."
"Okay."
He hugged me and was already to kiss my cheek again but then pulled back.
"No kissing! I remember Toph Beifong. Bye!"
He waved and went away. I hadn't even realized that Toph's grip was so tight until my eyes started to water.
"Heey! Toph! It is very tight. Stop!"
She released her grip and murmured a quiet sorry.

~an hour later~
As we entered our apartment I took of my F/C coat and shoes quickly. Then I was already going to help Toph with her with her coat but she pushed me away harshly.
"I don't need your help. I am not that weak and useless as you think!"
What have I done? I don't think of her in that way, I just wanted to help.

"Toph, I just wanted to help. That is what partners do, they help each other. What is your problem?"
She glared at me deadly and throw a random shoe at me. I quickly bent over and closed my face with my arms. It hit the wall right near my head.
"What is MY problem?! YOU KISSED ANOTHER PERSON JUST IN FRONT OF ME! YOU THINK I DIDN'T NOTICED. Yeah yeah I am blind! But don't forget that I can still see!"
"I am sorry Toph. But you misunderstood I haven't kissed him. He kissed me on the cheek. It is nothing! I promise you!"
"NOTHING? He slapped your butt! You don't let me do it and he... you didn't even say a thing about it!"

She was yelling and pointing at me. I tried to calm her down by hugging her but she just kept pushing me away. As she was stronger than me she pushed me to the wall and grabbed my shoulders roughly. As soon as I winced in pain she understood what she was doing and released me quickly. She heard me my sobs her expression turned into a shocked one. Toph stepped back and looked at her hands.
"I-I am sorry, Y/N. I d-don't know what h-happened to me. I am so sorry. I didn't want to hurt you, I promise!"

I didn't know what to do. My vision became blurry because of my tears. I rushed to the bathroom and slammed the door shut. How could she do that to me? Why? What have I done wrong? I started to cry more and sobbed into a towel that was hanging near our bath.
"Y/N, please. Let me in."
"N-No! Go away!"
I don't know what to say. I want her to be here but what if she hurt me again. I heard steps behind the door and out front door shutting loudly. Maybe it is good that she went away. She won't see me in this state. I know Toph needs to cool off and I need to calm down.

I stood up, looked in the mirror and saw small red marks on my shoulders from Toph's grip. I washed my face with cold water and finally stopped crying. I opened the bathroom door quietly, looking around. No one was here. I went to the kitchen and so that Toph was actually gone. Her coat and backpack wasn't there too. On my way to the bedroom I saw a footprint from the shoe on our wall. That was where she throw it and where she pinned me...
"No Y/N don't cry again! Crying won't take you anywhere. Go to sleep so you can calm down." I told myself as I entered our shared bedroom. I quickly put on my F/C shorts and matching top. As I plopped on the bed I immediately feel asleep.

~4 hours later~
It was already late at night as I woke up. I looked at the clock that was standing near the bed.
"Ahhh 2 a.m., cool! What I am going to do at night if I don't want to sleep more?"

I was laying with my eyes closed as I heard my bedroom door open, but I pretended that I was still sleeping.
I felt the bed dip and an arm wrapped around my waist. I knew it was Toph... well I hoped it was her.
"I know you are awake Y/N." Toph whispered in my ear and my eyes go wide. How does she know?
"If you are going to ask how did I know, then it is all because of your heartbeat. I know that when you are asleep it is much slower than now."
I groaned annoyed at her words, burring my face deeper into the pillow. I still haven't had the time to get over the incident, tears started to form in my eyes as the pillow didn't let them to roll down.
"Y/N, sweetheart, I am sorry."
She hugged me tightly and waited for me to say something.
"Y/N, you have to speak to me."
I still didn't answered. If I did, my husky voice would definitely make it obvious that I was crying.
Toph sighs loudly, thinking in what she should say next.
"I am really sorry Y/N. I was jealous. I didn't want to let my anger on you. I don't want to lose you to someone. I love you and I promise that I will never lay a hand on you again. Just give me a second chance please."
I bit the small peace of pillow hoping that it would stop the sob that was about to break through. Only a small whimper was heard instead. Toph got up from the bed and walked to my side. She kneeled on the floor, suddenly taking the pillow away from me. Her eyes widened, hearing that I was crying. She frowned, realizing that she is the reason why I were crying. The guilt were eating here from inside. She quickly hugged me, as I buried my face into her chest, crying and sobbing. While Toph placed her head on top of mine and started to rub small circles on my forearm. I heard her crying too, I wrapped my arms around her neck.
"Toph... let's go to sleep." I looked up at her and kissed her on the lips.
"As you wish, my love."
