"Lord Liorei! You won't believe this! Call the Godfather! Ready our mens!" Dr. Dassens said in panic and glee. I was so clueless. Nagmamadali akong pumunta dito nang marinig ang nakakabinging alarm. All of them are in a rush. As if they are readying for something.
"We found where the Dragon's Seal is! We are not sure if it was it but---our radars has detected where was it. The Dragon's Seal was real! It was the ABSOLUTE! Here! Take a look at this!" What!? The Dragon's Seal---has been found!?
Nagmamadali kaming pumunta sa lab kung saan nagkakagulo ang lahat. They give way for us. My eyes widened as I look at the holographic screen.
"We're lucky for being advanced in techs. When our radars felt unsual electromagnetic waves, we started working out on it. 10 seconds! For 10 seconds, the whole world experienced a blackout! It's that powerful! It just happened too fast. It was like as if, it was compressed for too long in a tight space and when it finally freed, that is what happened. We already sent our mens to get it. "W-What the--!?" Heck!? Anong ginagawa ni Volt dito!?
"You know each other?" Naguguluhang sabi ni Lancelot na napa-tayo dahil sa naging reaksiyon namin. Kinunutan ko si Volt ng noo at ganun din siya.
"Of course I do! He's... He's... He's my bestfriend." Sagot ko habang naka-tingin pa din kay Volt. Lumapit ako sa kaniya at hinawakan siya sa braso.
"Anong ginagawa mo dito? Nasaan sina Max at Paris?"
"Xerene..."

Nanlaki ang mga mata namin dahil sa sinabi niya. His---WHAT!?
"Ano!? Volt!?" Wait. Anong nangyayari? Why is this happening all of a sudden? Bakit hindi ko alam!? Bakit wala siyang sinasabi sa akin na may kapatid pala siya? Alam ba nila Max at Paris? Tapos ako hindi!?

"Hindi! Hindi ka aalis hangga't hindi mo sinasabi sa akin kung bakit ka nandito sa US at kung bakit hindi mo kasama sina Max at Paris!" Pigil ko sa kaniya at hinila siya pabalik. Nagsukatan kami ng tingin. Doon ko lang napansin na basa siya.
"Bakit basa ka? Hindi naman umulan, ah?" Tanong ko at kinapa-kapa ang katawan niya. Natigilan ako nang hawakan niya ang mga kamay ko.
"Enough, Xerene. Hindi ikaw ang ipinunta ko dito kundi si Lancelot." Malamig na sabi niya at dahan-dahang ibinaba ang mga kamay ko. Nangunot ang noo ko dahil doon. Napa-tingin ako sa bagay na nasa bulsa niya. Kinuha ko iyon at binuklat. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa nakita.

"XERENE!" Ani Volt at agad na kinuha ang maliit na notebook na nasa bulsa niya. Hindi ko pinansin ang mga tawag nila at nagtuluy-tuloy. Sumakay ako sa elevator at agad iyong sinara bago pa nila ako maabutan. Masakit ang mga sinabi niya but that's not my concern anymore. Her body turned red because of so much bloods. Despite of being naked, her lips are as red as the bloods that was on her. Her skin is too white. You can't even see a single vein. Her beauty, can be compared to a goddess.
That's DEATH. The real one. The real deal.
"How are you?" She asked under her breath. I gasped for air. The cold breeze brushed into my skin. Nilipad ng hangin ang buhok namin ngunit walang pumuputol sa labanan ng aming mga mata. Namumuo na ang pawis ko kahit na malamig sa lugar. Nangangatog ang aking mga tuhod. Hindi ako umaarte. Takot na takot ako.

"It's sprouting." Dagdag niya. Napa-ngiwi ako nang maramdaman ang paglubog ng mahaba niyang kuko sa aking puson. Ngunit naparalisado ang aking katawan at hindi ako nakagalaw. Fuck! She's controlling me!

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I swear to god, Electric Current! I will kill you later! Dammit!" Maka-ilang ulit kong minura si Volt habang mabilis na nagda-drive. Hindi ko inaalis sa paningin ko si Luna. Lahat kami ay naka-sunod sa kaniya and hell! Sasabog na talaga ang utak ko sa mga nangyayari! Argh! Paano na kami makakapunta nito sa Paris!? Fuck, Electric Current! I swear to god, ibibitin kita sa tuktok ng Eiffel Tower!
"LUNA!? FUCK, LUNA!" Sigaw ko sa kaniya pagkatapos bumaba sa kotse. Nagsidating na din ang iba pa. Napa-ngiwi ako nang makita ang mga---bangkay. Fuck! What the hell happened here!? Who are they!?
Inilibot ko ang tingin ko sa buong lugar. This place is so isolated. Nangunot ang noo ko nang makita ang isang babaeng naka-talikod. Is that my Luna?
