"All's well. Ready the machine." Pinindot na ng doktor ang button. Bumukas ang capsule kung saan nakalagay ang vision. Tumingin ako kay Aloisia na walang emosyon.
"Go inside, Angel." Naka-ngiting sabi ko at binitawan na ang kamay niya. Tumingin siya sa akin.
"Promise me one thing, Liore." Tumaas ang mga kilay ko pero nanatili akong naka-ngiti.
"Uhhhm, what is it?"
She looked at me straight in my eyes, "Just erase my memories. But never explore it." Huh?
"What do you mean?" Does she mean...ayaw niyang pakialam namin ang mga memorya niya? Then, paano namin malalaman ang lahat? Kung paanong buhay pa silang dalawa? Kung bakit may kamukha siya?
"Just...DON'T. Promise me, Liorei. If you break it, I will hate you. I will hate you forever. My brain maybe can't recall but my heart do. I will hate you from the bottom of my heart. And I will make sure it will haunt you. Forever." Sabi niya at mahigpit na hinawakan ang kamay ko. Nagtitigan kaming dalawa. And I can't help but to melt. Her stares melts me. I can't stand it.
"Fine. I promise. We won't." I smiled at her at hinalikan siya sa noo. Maliit lang siyang ngumiti.
"Thank you." Huling sabi niya bago pumasok sa capsule. Umupo na siya sa vision. Ibinaba ng doktor ang helmet at ikinabit ang mga aparato sa ulo niya. Pinanood ko lang siya. She was looking at me. Blankly. Para bang sinisiguro niya ang mga gagawin ko. I just smiled at her as an assurance. Lumabas na ang doktor. Sumarado na ang capsule.
"Delete all of her memories. Stick to the plan. But make sure to save it. It will be a big use to us someday. Are we clear?" Sabi ko sa scientist na agad niya namang tinanguhan.
"Yes, Lord Liorei. We're now starting the operation. Ready the engines! The memories too! In 3, 2, 1!" And he pressed the button. Aloisia closed her eyes. I took a sit and asked for some tea. Hindi naman siguro magiging matagal ang pagbura sa mga alaala niya. It wasn't much after all. Maybe, it will just take hours for the whole operation to be finally completed. Excitement overwhelms me. I can't wait for the next. I want to know if it was successful or not. Of course it must.
I looked at the monitor. Nangunot ang noo ko nang wala manlang nadaragdag sa deletion bar, "What's wrong? Why is there no progression?" Tanong ko sa kanila na naguguluhan rin.
"We're sorry, Lord Liore, but, the operation's still ongoing. Let's wait for a while. Maybe it's not yet diving in her brain." Wika nila na tinanguhan ko na lamang. An hour passed, at 1% lang ang naging progression.
"What the fuck is that!? I thought it will just take a few hours!? Why is it just 1%!? What's wrong with you!?" Nataranta na silang lahat. Napa-tayo ako at tumingin kay Aloisia na nasa ganoon pa ring posisyon. Damn! Why is it so slow!?
"We're really, really sorry, Lord Liore. Please give us time to figure out what's wrong with our invention. We'll stop the operation immediately once we spotted a malfunction. Everyone!" Argh!
Naipadyak ko ang paa ko at muling umupo. Biglang pumasok sina Arone at Kris na pumapalakpak, "Yes, yes, yes, man! This is it! Best man ako!" Bungad agad nila sa akin at tinapik ako sa balijat. Umupo sila sa magkabilang couch at pinanood ang operasyon. Inismiran ko lamang sila.
"Akala ko ba kanina pa nagsimula? Bakit 1% pa lang ang nabubura?" Naguguluhan nilang tanong. I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know. If this operation fails, kill the scientists in charge and reolace them with better ones. We don't need failures." Malamig na sabi ko at tumingin sa kanila na mga busy. Bumalik ang tingin ko kay Aloisia.

Wait, what if I'm not it's father? What if it was Van's? Should I kill the baby? Or not?
"Do a DNA test of me and that baby." Sabi ko na nagpagulat sa kanila.

"YES, LORD LIORE!" Sagot nila at nagmamadaling umalis upang tawagin si Kevin. He's one of the best scientist here. And one of the trusted. I need to make sure that baby was mine! Baka hindi ko malaman ang gagawin ko sa bata once na malaman kong si Van ang ama. I won't let that happen! I can't let his child live. I will kill it in front of him if I'll had a chance. Sa sobrang tuwa ko ay nawalan ako ng balanse. Agad nila akong inupo sa couch. Natakpan ko ang bibig ko habang nakatingin sa kapirasong papel na hawak ko. Sinisigurado kung hindi ba ako niloloko ng mga mata ko, "T-This was true, right? Read it again."
"It's true, Lord Liorei. You're the father. It's a positive." Naka-ngiti nilang sabi na halatang masaya para sa akin. Binitawan ko ang papel at natakpan ang mukha ko.

Months passed by. And her baby bump was so obvious already. Kababalik ko lang from Spain because of some business matters. Habang ganun pa din ang kundisyon niya ay ginagawa ko lahat ng mga ibinibigay sa akin ni Dad. I will never forget how happy they was when I told them that Aloisia's pregnant. Mom cried because of so much happiness. They gave me the supported I needed. And they said they will always be there for me. For now, they were busy again.
Dad's really working hard for his new invention. And about the Dragon's Seal, I already reported everything to him. He didn't gave me any of his thought though. I don't know why but...*sigh*. I can't explain. But I trust him. Whatever he do, I'll support him too the way he do to me. Mom was helping him. And sometimes, she'll go abroad to do stuffs and such. Negotiations. "X-Xerene..." naka-ngiti kong sabi nang bumukas na ang mga mata niya. Bumilis ang pagtibok ng puso ko. I know it's a success but I want to confirm it first. She smiled at me.
"Devil... Where are we?"
Unti-unting nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Tumingin siya sa paligid, "Are we in the lab? What happened?" Naguguluhang tanong niya. Nalaglag ang panga ko. Hanggang sa gumuhit ang ngiti sa labi ko.

She looked down to her belly. Her eyes went wide, she squeaked, "Waaaaahhh! I can't wait to see our baby and held it in my arms, Devil. I know our baby will look like me." Shr said with a smirk. Yes, this is the better Aloisia. I made her fiercer. The perfect assassin! My woman!
"Oh c'mon, Angel. It will be me. And our first child will be a girl." Natatawa kong sabi at tinulungan siyang tumayo. I wrapped my arms around her waist, supporting her.
"You don't want a boy?"
"I want too. But I want a girl. And she'll grow up to be just like you." Naka-ngiti kong sabi na nginusuhan niya naman.
"Maraming maghahabol sa kaniyang lalaki, gusto mo ba n'on? Baka mamana niya ang kagandahan ko." I bursted out in laughter because of that.
"What's my use then as her father? I won't let any bastsrd touch nor touch our princess, Angel. And of course, she'll be beautiful just like you." I said and gave her a peck in her lips. She smiled.
"Yo, Aloisia! Congrats, man!" Bati ng dalawa sa kaniya. They shared a bro fist.

"Aray! Bastards!" Pag-iinarte nilang dalawa na inilingan ko na lamang.
"We're leaving. Treat everyone here and give this day their rest." Wika ko sa dalawa na tinanguhan lang nila. Tinapik nila ako s alikod kaya lumabas na kami.

"Yes, My Lord." At umalis na agad siya. I looked at Aloisia.
"Is there something wrong, Angel?" Nakuha ko ang atensyon niya.
"Huh? Uhhhm, nothing. I'm just feeling...tired. And sick." I see.
"Then we must go home. Do you want to eat anything? Deserts, perhaps?" Tanong ko. Mom said I should look after her 'paglilihi'. Pregnancy was really hard. It was our first too though. I should take this seriously. I'm thankful that Dad gave me 3 months leave. I can give her my full support and attention. I want to take care of her.
"I don't want to ride that chopper." Huh?
"What? Why?" She frowned.
"I just don't want to."
"What about the helicopter?" Tanong ko at itinuro ang helicopter. Her frown remained.
"Where are we going anyways?"
"Where do you want to go?" Tanong ko. We'll go anywhere she wanted to.
"Uhhhhm, what about Italy?"
I smiled at her, "All right. We'll go to Italy." Sabi ko at inalalayan siyang pumasok sa chopper. She intertwined our hands and rested her head on my shoulder. I smiled at that cuteness. Inakbayan ko siya at hinawakan ang tiyan niya.
"What could be it's gender?" I'm excited to know. Hindi pa kami nagpapa-ultrasound.
"No one knows about us yet, Angel. How do you want them to know?" I can't think of the perfect time to announce our relationship to our underlings. I'm sure they'll be glad to hear that the great Aloisia's on our side finally. She's a big catch.
"Let's surprise them when we plan our marriage?" She answered. I felt excited and delighted in the thought of hdr, walking down the aisle in her most expemsive and luxurious wedding gown.
"What about a month after you give birth to our child? Pwede na din nating isabay ang binyag niya." She looked at me with sparkling eyes.
"Woah! I would love too, Devil! Alright, it's settled then. Should we mark the date already?"
"Of course! May kilala akong magaling na wedding organizer. Magsimula na dapat tayo so that there will still be a room for changes." Suhestiyon niya na tinanguhan ko naman.
"I'll go with that idea. We can move out to our house after our wedding. For now, we'll stay in our estate for thd mean time. Is that fine to you?"
She smiled at me sweetly, "No problem at all, Devil." I hugged her very tight and kissed her head. For the first time in my entire life,
I felt pure bliss and happiness. I felt truly alive.
