a knock on the door startled hyunjin, quick to get up from his bed with the adrenaline rushing as he opened the door.

''uhm, hi,'' the boy on the other side greeted in a whisper. ''is this the room i was supposed to go to? the one with the party?''

''no,'' hyunjin answered, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. ''we went to bed already,,, you know parties are not allowed here, right?''

''oh,'' he breathed, shoulders dropping in disappointment. ''i-it's alright.''

the boy turned and cursed under his breath, hyunjin pitying him when he had seen the tears starting to build in his eyes.

''actually,'' the male interrupted. ''my roommate and i were hanging out, you can join us.''

only after a lot of convincing did the other accept the offer, shuffling into the room shyly and jisung sitting up sleepily in his bed, squinting at the light.

''i'm minho,'' (i had to see my baby again i'm sorry) the boy introduced himself. ''y-your roommate said i could come have a party with you.''

jisung nodded, stretching and squinting at him to try and see if he could identify him.

''your friends don't seem very nice,'' hyunjin sighed. ''for them to tell you to come here.''

minho shrugged, shyly scanning the room with his eyes. ''they don't really like hanging out with me, probably gave me the wrong location to make a fool out of me.''

''come here,'' hyunjin invited, his arms opened for a hug and minho walking into it. ''they're not your friends, honey.''

''i know,'' minho mumbled. ''they're the only people i have, though.''

''you don't deserve to be treated like that.'' the boy whispered, not knowing why he was being so welcoming, why he felt the need to protect the boy.

jisung felt kinda jealous, honestly, he didn't like how easy the two seemed to get along when he struggled to.

minho sat on hyunjin's bed seeing as that was the one that was empty and instead of hyunjin returning to his cuddle spot with jisung he sat down next to him.

he looked to the other side to quickly roll his eyes before turning back to minho with a smile, still finding it sad that he got betrayed like that.

''what was it? minho?'' he wondered, the boy nodding in confirmation. ''nice to meet you.''

''nice to meet you too,'' minho replied softly. ''hope i'm not interrupting anything.''

jisung wanted to tell him that he was interrupting, that he should let them go back to cuddling, he was too nice to.

''hyunjin,'' jisung pouted, making grabby hands. ''come cuddle me.''

''don't be so silly,'' hyunjin denied, nervous with minho's reaction as to affection between boys. ''we never cuddle.''

''you can, if you want to,'' minho ignored the denial. ''it's not my place to judge in any way, if you're scared i'm gonna be all homophobic i have a boyfriend in daegu.''

the boy grabbed his phone, removing some notifications before showing his lockscreen with him and another boy.

''we don't get to see each other in real life that much,'' he sighed. ''but once we're done with school we're gonna live together, we've been together for so long now.''

hyunjin got up from his place, going over to jisung for the younger to grab him and pull him against his chest, putting his chin on top of his head.

''don't be so whiny,'' hyunjin shushed, rubbing his head against his chest for a moment. ''just because you can't touch me for a moment, hm?''

jisung closed his eyes where he was laying on his head, so so sleepy and sighing softly, possessive over what was his.

''my puppy,'' jisung mumbled, smelling his hair for a moment again. ''talk with minho, i'll sleep here.''

the older laughed, finding jisung's hand and playing with his fingers a little.

minho smiled at them, fond as he got a notification from changbin.

with a soft sigh he pocketed his phone, looking up and feeling a mild sting of envy when he noticed jisung had fallen asleep in the exact position he had laid himself down in.

he talked with hyunjin for a while, bonding over random things and laughing quietly as not to wake up jisung.

as minho left he laid jisung down and waved him goodbye, exchanging their numbers and locking the door.
