Chapter 14

The Next Day

Kaia's Pov

I woke up and did my morning routine, then took my prenatal vitamins. I went back in the bathroom to wash my face.

Then I went downstairs to get breakfast to eat. I ate cereal in the living room while sitting on the couch. I'm gonna call Me and Chris's parents over for dinner tonight so we can tell them that I am pregnant.

The phone was still ringing until my Mom answered the phone. "Hello." My Mom said. "Hey Mom what are you and Dad doing tonight?" I said. "Nothing, Why?" My Mom said.

"Can you and Dad come over cause Chris and I have something to tell you and his parents." I said. "Yeah baby we'll be there, but is it bad?" My Mom said. "No it's good news." I said.

"See you tonight honey I love you." My Mom said. "Okay love you to Mom." I said. We both hung up the phone. Now I am about to call Mama J's phone. I dialed Mama J's number and her phone was ringing.

"Hello." Mama J said. "Hey Mama J!" I said. "Hey Sweetie!" Mama J said. "I'm doing good!" I said. "That's good." Mama J said. "Are you and Clinton doing anything tonight?" I said. "No Why?" Mama J said. "Me and Chris want to tell y'all the good news!" I said.

"Okay sweetie see you tonight!" Mama J said. "Okay!" I said. We said our goodbyes then hung up the phone. I yelled for Chris to come downstairs. I can hear his footsteps coming downstairs.

"What baby I was playing 2k20?" Chris said. "I invited our parents over for dinner tonight!" I said. "That's good baby, so you ready to tell them that they are going to be grandparents?" Chris said. "Yeah but kinda scared." I said.

"Why we are both adults?" Chris said. "I know baby but I am still scared!" I said. "It's okay to be scared baby." Chris said. "I get it babe." I said.

"Well I'm going to best buy right quick to get me a camera so I can start doing YouTube." I said. "That's good babe." Chris said. "Want to do a couple's channel?" I said. "Sure baby." Chris said. "Okay." I said.

I got up from the couch went into the kitchen, then put my bowl and spoon in the dishwasher. I put my UGG slippers on, then I grabbed my keys and my purse. I left out the door and closed it. I got in my car and closed the door.

I made my way to Best Buy now I am about to find a parking spot. After I grabbed my keys and purse then got out of the car I closed and locked the door.

I was walking into Best Buy going into the electronics section to look for the camera. So I found the camera now I am about to go buy it. I paid for the camera and left.

I unlocked my car door and got in then closed the door. I made way home. I'm about to do a quick prank on Chris before I have to cook dinner before our parents come over.

I pulled up to my house, then parked my car in the garage. I got out of the car and locked. I unlocked the house door and I walked in the door to see Chris and August playing 2k20 in the living room.

I unpacked the camera and turned it on. I went in another room so Chris can't hear me do this prank. The camera was recording. "Hey K&C squad welcome to our channel!" I said. "I'm about to prank my fiance Chris." I said into camera.
