Ray had smoothed his calloused fingers into Kat's hair as she sat between his legs. The couple had one day left before they would have to venture back out into the real world. He was trying to keep his wife's attention on him, distracting her from trying to speak to the brunette she wanted to sleep with. He couldn't believe they were back on this subject matter. He could sense Kat's hesitation on speaking about the brunette back in Montreal, she wanted to leave the woman out of their talks until they knew for sure if she would be interested in what Kat had in mind.

"How's the book?" Ray continued to scratch at Kat's scalp, her shoulder blocking his view as she shrugged.

"It's okay. Not much has happened in the past few pages but I have high hopes." The redhead rose her left leg up, planting her foot against the bed in order to prop her knee into the air. Everything Kat did drove her husband mad, and being away from the woman so long heightened his libido. Ray finally brought his hands down to Kat's back, slowly stroking her shoulders as she leaned into his touch.

"You think we could strip down sometime soon and just be naked all day?" Ray ran his mouth over Kat's neck as she sighed, pushing into him until her back touched his chest. She gazed up, her right hand placed within her book.

"Can't we just lay in each other's embrace, maybe sit by the beach and just relax?"

Ray could already feel his wife slipping from his grip, her presence being the only thing which made him know she was his. He wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her where she lay as she rose her book up to continue reading.

"How about we do what you want? Hum?" His deep voice caused excitement to stir in her belly.

"Anything I want?" She paused as he nodded against her. Kat smirked, turning to face him before diving into a passionate kiss.

It was Sunday in Calgary. Dom had just landed, stepping off her flight to find Melanie there with open arms. She embraced the woman as if she hadn't seen her in months, happily kissing her cheek before pulling away. They would drive back into the city together, each being dropped off at their respectable homes. Dom was anxious. She had missed Kat, and apart from her calling her the other night, she heard nothing more from the woman.

"How was your week off?" Melanie questioned.

"It was so refreshing." The younger woman smiled, "I got to do some yoga, which if you ask me is making me...very...flexible." Dom giggled, her arms stretching in front of her as Melanie pulled her into another hug.

"Who do you need to be flexible for?"

"You don't know my life." The smaller woman smirked, just as Melanie playfully shoved the brunette against the car door.

            "Ow."

"So, have you heard anything from the guys, or Kat?"

"Nothing." Dom was trying to keep her excitement about the woman's return to a minimal. It wasn't as if they were gone for very long, but she missed seeing her friend every day, her strong arms pulling her close. Dom felt that all too familiar tug in her gut. She asked Mel about her kids to distract herself, bringing snacks up to her own lips which she had carried with her. She had seemingly forgotten about Ray's call, which he never called back to do.

Dom was dropped off first, her apartment feeling larger than it had been before. She carried her bags up to the door, stepping inside before her name filled the air. She turned behind her to find her redheaded friend standing in her own doorway. She hadn't expected Kat to be back this early. But to her surprise, Ray stood next to his wife. There it was again, that feeling of something burning the once fluttering butterflies in her stomach. Kat made it across the street, her skin tanned from the week on the beach. Dom ran her tongue over her lips, lowering her eyes to her bags just as Kat smiled up at her.
