The car pressed down the road as Dom melted against her seat, her body still aching. Kat was focusing on the road as their driver tried to get them to set no later than thirty minutes after call time. They were going to be scolded, each knew the consequences and neither had a story to tell. Kat tried adjusting her blue shirt collar against her neck, her hickies present and vibrant. She attempted to use makeup to cover them but they were running late and it was best not to tempt fate more.

"I'm going to get a few winks of sleep." Dom announced, closing her eyes as the gentle whirling from outside drifted against the window.

"I'll be running on fumes all day today." Kat adjusted herself , shifting left before right. They were going to be shooting for sixteen hours and she couldn't believe that she put herself in this situations. Dom quickly drifted off, her head gently bobbing at her side as Kat pulled her own seatbelt off her waist and slid next to the woman. She cradled her head before placing it against her shoulder, her eyes reflecting back at herself in the rearview mirror. Once the quiet settled in, her actions from the night began to play through her mind. She scolded herself quietly, her mind going towards Ray. He couldn't possibly think she'd go all day without speaking to him, not after last night.

The redhead groaned, her annoyance with how easily she let herself slip into the other woman's arms began to nag at her. She gazed down, Dom's fingers gently falling against her lap as she took in another deep breath. There was regret bubbling up someplace within her but she knew it wasn't because of the woman at her side. It couldn't possibly be because of Ray, she told herself, since he was hundreds of miles away. Kat ran her tongue over her lips, closing her eyes for a moment. She had to breath. If she was going to survive this week, she would have to accept her role in all of this. Her actions were haunting her.

It was her wedding day. Kat nervously paced the room as Melanie darted into the space, her fingers cradling a veil. The older brunette stopped just before the archway, her smile trying to push away the pants in her breath.

"You ran here?" Kat questioned, her eyes studying her friend who shrugged.

"And you're still pacing back and forth. I didn't want to leave you with your thoughts for too long." Melanie placed the white thin veil against the bed, her fingers straightening the fabric before she stood. "Why aren't you in your dress?"

"I was waiting for my mom to get back." Kat mentioned, her fingers brushing against her satin nightgown as she continued her back and forth movement throughout the room.

"So on a scale from one to run, how nervous are you?"

"I'm not going to run." The taller woman smirked, "I'm just nervous. What if something goes wrong?"

"It won't." The eldest brunette spoke up as a knock came to the door. Melanie walked over to answer it, spotting her small friend through the peephole. With a flick of her wrist, the door was opened and Dom stood before the two in her body tight navy dress with black strap up heels which stopped just above her ankles.

"Need any help?" Dom found herself smirking, her eyes falling against Melanie's as the older brunette tugged her inside, closing the door swiftly behind her. The hotel room which was once spotless, now sat with towels, makeup and clothes tossed here and there. Melanie slowly began to lift items to toss onto nearby chairs or just out of the way as Dom's eyes found Kat's. Both women gave a tender smile, the bride-to-be turning to glance away as the brunette paced over. "You're not even in your wedding dress yet and you look so beautiful Kat."

"Thanks." The taller woman faced her friend, the patter in her stomach now turning into something else entirely. It was as if looking into those gentle hazel eyes reminded her of something. Dom's fingers rose near her cheek, her fingers sliding against the taller woman's ear as Kat found herself taking in a deep breath.
