I had no idea I hadn't updated in two weeks. Yikes. But I've finally given myself a third deadline for this story haha, lets see if I'll meet it this time. Enjoy.

"Why is your face so red?" Melanie had gazed over at Dom as she stood near the brunette, both women on their marks for their next scene. Dom studied her friend, a sort of gleam in her eyes as she shrugged. The brunette could still feel the flutter flipping around in her belly from moments prior. Her skin rippling from the intimate contact against the Sheriff's desk not too long ago as she took in a deep breath. Her hands were clammy, lips slightly parted as her eyes studied the redhead pulling out her prop gun and cocking it. A small exhaled breath of excitement left her as Melanie rose an eyebrow.

"Stop looking at her like that. You two still have to discuss everything, and you're giving her space, remember?" The older woman had made sure to keep her voice low.

"I'm just waiting for our cue." Dom took a breath, her eyes trying to waver but holding steady none the less.

"You are a bad fucking liar. Do you usually eye hump her or what?"

"Mel..." Dom whispered, her head tilting back before she was waved into the scene. Being in front of the camera was the closest thing to home, it felt familiar. Safe. There was something else that began to feel at home, one person actually. Kat held back the excitement in her stomach, saying her lines with ease as Dom practically melted before her. Being Waverly gave the brunette a mask she could hide behind whenever Melanie was being super protective. She used that mask now.

Kat's soft gaze studied the brunette as she delivered her lines, her hand falling against Dom's lower back as Melanie stepped into frame. The redhead could still feel the buzz that rippled through her body and yet the ache in her chest began to hammer itself deeper. She wondered if what she had done hours ago with Ray, if saying what she had said was going to destroy the man. Her stomach twisted as her fingers gently dug into Dom's hip.

The three women didn't lose a beat as they moved around the soundstage. It was effortless to carry the persona of Nicole against the redhead's shoulders. Her bold and strong personality shined through every time. Kat took a breath the moment they called 'cut,' as Dom faced her. One of the stage hands waved the redhead's phone into the air from nearby, the screen flashing brightly. She dismissed herself from the group, her mind reminding her once more of the state she had left her home.

"What's going on now?" Melanie groaned, facing the petite brunette, her perception of the situation unclear.

"I don't know." Dom hadn't really asked much of anything besides if Ray was okay with what the two had done just an hour ago. She didn't push to hear more outside of Kat shushing her. Melanie studied her taller friend, crossing her arms before the dailies were rolled behind camera. The scenes the group had currently filmed were getting a few extra eyes to look over them as the set was rearranged. "I hope everything's okay."

"Why are you looking at her like that?" Melanie wasn't stupid. It was as if Dom could change at the tip of a hat when it came to the redhead. It wasn't anything new, but she hoped her smaller friend would listen to her suggestion on giving the woman space. "What did she do to change your mind about distance yet again?" Mel brought up out of the blue.

            "Nothing."

"Dom." The older woman groaned, "You have got to be more responsible or you're going to get hurt. You're already suffering more than you should be and if I didn't love the both of you so damn much I would have already given you a piece of my mind."
