EDITING IN PROGRESS. Bet you didn't expect an update. Sometimes I get inspired.

Editing guys, there will be mistakes until then.

The weekend had come and gone like magic. That being said, Dom had kept herself busy spending time with her friends before she ended up at her apartment alone. The following Monday morning, she climbed out of bed, pulling her hair into a ponytail before taking her morning shower and getting dressed. The brunette pulled on a summer dress of powder blue, her hair falling against her shoulder with it's soft curls laying perfectly against her skin. Dom checked her light makeup a few times before pulling on her sandals and making her way into the kitchen.

Things for the brunette had seemed normal. Well, as normal as it could be since she hadn't really allowed her mind to get clogged by her emotions of jealously or anger or confusion. The car had rolled around in time, Dom studying the house across the way but knowing Kat hadn't returned just yet. With a flip of excitement in her belly to see the woman, Dom climbed into the vehicle and made her way to work.

"Like hell he didn't." Melanie burst into laughter in the distance as Dom made her way onto set. It was a day of script reading, pretty chill and less demanding than shooting. The taller brunette faced Dom before raising a brow. "You're looking all dolled up."

"No I don't." The smaller woman countered as Tim gave his input.

"I think you look nice." The man softly smiled as Melanie rolled her eyes.

"So, where's Haught sauce?" Mel wondered, as Dom blinked.

"I thought you knew when Kat was coming back."

     "Nope, she just said Monday."

"Oh." Dom bit gently down on her bottom lip before shaking her head. Varun had spotted his friends, making his way over with a bag of donuts as Melanie faced him. The group was prepping to start their day doing a set read. It was rare for them to do one, but it seemed fitting as they were half way done with the season and the weather was shifting into a slightly chilly atmosphere. The group made their way towards the makeshift office in the middle of the soundstage, taking a chair as Dom faced the empty one next to her. She knew that Kat was coming back today, she promised her that she would, but she also had to work. Emily, one of the many writers made her presence known as Dom studied the table, the script placed before her was neatly clipped together and untouched. To keep herself occupied, the brunette grabbed the book and flipped through it, knowing they were planning on a cold read and she hated those.

"Sorry I'm late." There was a whispered voice near Dom's right ear. She quickly turned to find Kat's bright smile catching her eye. Dom's heart instantly drummed, her grin matching the one beaming her way just as everyone else made themselves comfortable.

"Hi." Dom's eyes had instantly softened, her gaze but a look of excitement and love.

"Hey." Kat returned the bright grin before Emily spoke to the group. The words were but a jumbled up mess in Dom's head as she shifted in her chair, sliding just a small half an inch closer to the redhead. Kat was due for a touchup on her hair anyway now, as the roots were starting to turn. The scene had begun as everyone flipped open their scripts, Dom groaning at the words shifting on the page.

There weren't many scenes Dom would pay attention to through the table reads just because of her dyslexia and the way the words scrambled themselves up for her. She flipped through the script to find her own lines just as Kat gave her back a gentle brush. The brunette stiffened for a moment, her lower belly reminding her of the contact she had been missing. Dom instantly relaxed more, a grin planting itself on her face as she found her own lines to read. There wasn't much to a table read. Nothing was different except the scenes and action on the page.
