More Than Physical

It had been several days since she allowed herself to give in to her body's wants. Eight days to be exact and yet, she could still feel the rush ripple through her body every now and again. Kat thumbed the morning Paper, wearing her husband's t-shirt over her underwear as she tried to focus on the black words against the pale white page. Her mind had wandered back to when she allowed herself to partially have Dom on her sofa. They were both fully clothed that night, she let her hand do all the work and yet, she could still feel the woman all over her. The way Dom's breath hitched when she ran her fingers against her skin, the warmth of her tongue.

'Honey.' Ray waved a gentle hand in front of his wife's eyes, smiling as she shook her head.

'Sorry I've been a little...' Kat pressed her thighs together.

'Spaced out?' He chuckled, leaning in to lay a sweet kiss across her brow. 'Go with me to the bakery.' He didn't quite ask, brushing strands of her hair roughly behind her ear as she nodded. Kat had to leave her house, she had to get out of there and do something other than reminisce about that night.....about her. About the way Dom's face twisted in pleasure and her soft screams vibrated through the room. The way she begged to touch Kat but the redhead found pleasure in giving it away. Kat only used her hands that night and now it seemed her body was always on fire. She went through the days distracting herself from what she truly wanted but by night when she gave in to her husband's needs, she could still feel the ache within her, it was never enough. She loved him, he was her world. But her body wanted more. It craved more.

That night, those eight days ago, she stopped Dominque from giving her any self pleasure. She had done what she wanted to do, giving her all to the brunette as best as she could without losing herself. She cradled her after, helping Dom change into a comfortable outfit from her own closet to head home in. Her skin sent signals through her that she refused to have released. She spoke to her friend on the phone for the days that came after. They kept their conversations normal.... usual. Dom had given Kat a speech about conserving water and saving the planet and Kat, well, she tried not to speak about Ray. It wasn't as if Dom cared in a negative way, she quite liked the guy and brought him up on her own. But Kat found herself speaking less about her husband and more about returning to film their show or her dog Bernie, or anything else for that matter.

Kat dressed herself to head out, pulling on some jeans and a checkered blue top before tossing her hair into a bun. They settled into her husband's car as he drove the few miles into the city. They were just two weeks away from filming back in Calgary. Her breath hitched at the thought.

'I think I need to get back into yoga.' Kat faced the man at her side. 'I've been feeling a little out of it lately and I just... I think I need to center myself.'

'Well your girlfriend has always said that you should take up meditation.' Ray smirked, knowing that Kat often rolled her eyes when he called Dom anything but her friend. But it felt true each time he said it. Before their most recent incident the two would greet and fall into a longing embrace, giving each other a small peck on the lips before going on about how they've missed the other. They were close, and Ray could see it. He wasn't the jealous type and actually brought up the two being girlfriends at a party once. It sort of stuck. But now, those words sparked a pulse between his wife's legs, her eyes closing as she laid her head against the seat. She wanted nothing more than to stop her body from constantly wanting to feel the woman's touch. Her mind wandered.

It had been one of the coldest shooting days in Calgary that Dom had ever experienced. Her teeth chattered, her skin crawled with goosebumps. The small space heater wasn't keeping her warm as she paced the large tent. Kat had been flipping through a magazine, her eyes focused on the page as Dom stopped to study her. The brunette had been debating on telling the woman her feelings for years now and yet she kept telling herself it was best if she hadn't. Kat slid her tongue over her bottom lip, smiling as she studied whatever caused the action to occur on the page. Dom's heart hitched, her stomach growing that all familiar knot.
