Ray raked his fingers through Kat's tinted red locks. The two were now laying under one another as the woman tried forcing her wandering thoughts out of her head. When Kat gazed over at Dom a few hours ago, the brunette's soft smile hit her deeper than it should have. Her body wanted to give way to the flutter rising within her. Varun had brought giggles out of his friend that warmed the taller brunette as she watched the two. Ray pulled Kat closer, his leg falling against her bare ones as he gripped her waist. The two had rose out of heated sex and the man was content. His fiancé, with her brown shimmering eyes held her thoughts elsewhere.

Kat could still feel the rippling pulse of pleasure working its way through her body. Her hand lay against her lips as she tried to recreate the past hour in her head and yet, as Ray threaded his fingers through her hair, her mind drifted. Kat felt the urge to just push herself out of bed and visit her friend. The woman was most likely back on the other side of town at her rented apartment eating dinner or listening to music. Kat gave a baited sigh before pulling away from Ray. Her legs began to shiver, the tingling trail hitting her upper thigh made her squeeze them together. It wasn't because of the man next to her and she bit down on her lip at that thought.

Kat envisioned Dom standing in her doorway whispering sweet things that caused her body to tremble. She could practically feel the soft hands smoothing her legs. She had to clear her mind because these thoughts were dangerous.

'You okay?' Ray's voice snapped the woman out of thought.

'Yeah.' Kat licked her lips, her chest heaving as Ray gave her arm a gentle squeeze. Dom was now a part of the older woman's thoughts, her voice filling the room like a lost ghost as Ray kissed his fiancé's back.

It was stupid to get up and leave such a wonderful set up with her fiancé, but after constantly tossing and turning to lay on her side, Kat faced the man. She tried to stop the stir which arose in her belly. She wanted nothing more to stop thinking about the few times she embraced Dom in a kiss. Kat couldn't believe the effect her friend recently had on her.

'I'm going to go out for a bit.' The clock read a little past nine. She could feel her future husband's eyes on the back of her neck as she kicked the covers away from her legs.

'You're going out this late?'

'Yeah.' Kat pecked her fiancé's scruffy cheek before pulling herself from bed and getting dressed. The moment she left out the front door, she felt a wash of dread fall over her. To see Dom with intent on anything other than hanging out or being friendly made Kat question if she was doing something Ray wouldn't approve of. She knew she was doing something even she wouldn't approve of. As she climbed in his rental and turned the key, she paused. It was stupid, Kat thought, to allow her body to rule over her head. She pondered her next move knowing she wanted to just kiss her friend once and the feelings would go away. Just once more and she would get over this new found infatuation with the woman. She scoffed at herself, knowing that she was bound to find herself in a bad situation if she entertained these ideas.

Kat drove the familiar road to her friend's rental before cursing herself and her own actions. She parked nonetheless. Her fingers tensing up over the steering wheel, her knuckles whitening.

'Kat, you've got to go home.' She told herself just as the front door opened and a smiling Dom came cascading down her steps in a fit of giggles. The woman had her arm flung over Varun's shoulder, her head tilting back as her smile lit up. Kat opened the car door to find her friend had already noticed her presence.
