I was standing in the familiar large field but it was full of death and pain instead of the beauty I saw last time. The swaying tall green grass that once held so much life was now covered in bright red blood that squirted from their gaping wounds.

Men and women were screaming and screeching as the ground became slippery with sludge and blood. The witch hunters were battering and beating against the witches who  fought back and used their powers against them under the cloudy sky.

Tensing at the smell and sight of the gruesome battle. Looking around as I tried to doge their sweaty fighting bodies when I realized I wasn't really here, and that they could just go through me. Looking at all the hundreds of men and women fighting to the death when I saw the familiar woman I had spoken to.

Sweat and pieces of her dark brown hair covered her forehead as she tried to doge the man's sword with her powers.

"You're a monster. I can't wait until I see every last one of you draw your last breath." He said breathlessly as he fought her. "The feeling is mutual." She bit back making his face harden before she used her power to stab him with his own sword.

He fell to his knees as blood poured out of his wound and mouth before falling to the ground lifeless. I let out a loud sob as someone suddenly snuck up behind her and slit her throat. Her eyes glazed over as she coughed up blood before falling limp to the ground.

Sitting up with a sudden bolt breathing heavily as tears formed in my eyes. I found myself somewhere completely unfamiliar.

Everything in the room was bathed in white, from the walls to the blankets on my body. The only pops of color were the abstract painting on one wall and the black t-shirt of the man standing at the window looking over streets and large buildings.

"Finally." Damon said as he turned around in a slow breath. I continued to try and sit up in the bed making my head pound causing me to let out a groan. "What happened?" I asked in a raspy voice as I held my head.

"You fainted." He answered as his face was full of worry as I looked at him. Damon grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles gently making me smile at the feelings it sent up my arm. "Where am I? How long have I been here?" I asked, making him sigh.

"Not long." Damon answered, as my eyes widened. "You're in the hospital. The doctor should be here soon." He said as he grabbed my hand again making me nod lightly before I spoke. "Why am I here? What happened after I fainted?"

"Well, we all freaked out. Faye created a portal to the hospital using a spell. You've been here ever since." Damon explained gently. "Where is Cole? Is the town council safe? I-Is he still going to kill them?" I asked quickly, making him frown.

"Forget about them, Luna. You are in the hospital. You could have died." He said, angry. "I'm fine, Damon, I just fainted. I can't have more people die because of me." I said trying to get out of bed.

"They didn't die because of you, Luna." Damon said, making me stop. "I should have done something sooner. I should have done the spell to protect them all." I said frustrated. "Olivia and Noah are dead because of me. I-I failed." I said quietly as tears started to collect in my eyes.

"They didn't die because of you, Luna." He repeated. "Cole is responsible. He killed them, not you." Damon started sternly making me look at him. "But I should have been there! Or have done something sooner." I insisted on making him sigh as he held my hands in his.

"Hello, Luna. I am Dr. Sanchez." The doctor said as she opened the door making me look up at her. "How are you feeling?" She said as she walked up to the foot of the bed.
