Ever since we have gone home, we haven't been able to keep our hands off one another. Almost trying to make up for lost time and being grateful that we had each other.
Damon was running his hands carelessly over my bare back making me smile against his warm chest. "I have school." I said quietly, wanting him to talk me out of getting up. Dreading having to get up away from his embrace.
"Then you should get ready." Damon replied, making me groan against him. "I don't want to." I whined as I nuzzled my head deeper in his chest. Sighing heavily, finally getting the strength to pull away from him, wrapping the sheet around me.
Damon sat up and smacked my bottom playfully as I stood to walk away. Jumping in surprise as I turned to look at him to let out a small laugh making him grin mischievously.
As I looked in the mirror, I saw the scratches on my arm and my cut on my leg was starting to finally heal.
"What happened the day you talked to your family?" I asked as I finished getting ready. "I think I was too hungover to remember to ask you about it." I joked lightly making him chuckle as he got dressed.
"We just talked. Explained why I didn't want to be a hunter like them. Oliver and Ruby understood but it took my father some convincing. To understand that I was still the same person I always was." Damon explained as I sat down on the bed. I watched him put on his shirt trying not to drool as he continued.
"Then you came up... and that got a little rocky at first." Damon confessed. I inched closer to him as he got ready. "I don't really care about my father's opinion of me or us. I just went to make sure Ruby and Oliver were okay with everything." He said, making me smile looking up at him.
"And were they?" I asked hesitantly as he look down at me pulling me by the waist. I silently wished I could see him shirtless again, but I quickly pushed my thoughts away as he spoke. "Yes, they were hesitant, but they understand that you aren't a threat to me or them." Damon said.
"Good. I'm glad. I just hope it won't be awkward anymore." I replied as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear kissing me softly. "Me too."
Walking downstairs into the living room to see Liam watching tv alone. Different bags of snacks littered the coffee table and his lap with his usual home attire consisting of a gray shirt showing off his few tattoos, sweatpants and his disheveled dirty blonde hair.
After Faye explains to Liam and Gabriel everything that had happened, they have all been walking on eggshells around me.
Liam hasn't called me any names or bit back at me with sarcasm. I had actually begun to get used to his behavior and it was weird seeing him so quiet and civil towards Damon and I.
I knew it was only because Liam was worried I would lash out if he does or says something I didn't appreciate. But I will lash out if he continues to be eerily nice toward me.
"I guess it's time for you to meet my parents now. Officially." I said nervously as he drove to school making. "Sure." Damon said as I smiled nervously.
"Oh, God." I breathed out in realization, making him look at me worried. "What?" He asked quickly, making me groan.
"Our parents are going to have to meet." I said full of worry and annoyance making him let out a laugh. Warmth and butterflies erupted in my stomach making me smile. "It's kind of inevitable." Damon replied. I continued to stare out the window nervously biting my lip with wide eyes.
"It's going to be fine, babe. I'm sure they will all be understanding... eventually. After we explain everything." Damon said, making me scoff through an amused smile. "You don't know my mother." I said making as he pulled up to school.
