"Charles wants to talk to you." The other man said with a sly smile. "Talk? What happened to him trying to kill me?" I asked full of amusement.

"There may still be time for that. But until then  we can just kill your precious hunter if you refuse." The woman said moving behind Damon and held a knife to his throat.

Trying to rush towards them as one of the men grabbed my arms from behind me. "I'm not going anywhere with you." I said full of anger, making the woman smile coldly. "Have it your way." She said, making me try to pull away from the man's grasp before she tried to kill him.

"No!" I sobbed as she pierced the blade against his throat. She frowned as she realized nothing happened, making me let out a breath of relief. "What the- What did you do?" She beamed in anger and frustration as she pushed him away from her.

My face hardened as I pulled away from the man's grip successfully. "I'm a witch, aren't I? Figure it out." I replied, making her face harden as Liam chuckled softly. The woman in black leather threw her knife into Liam's chest making her smirk as he groaned in pain.

"Looks like you forgot about him." She said as Liam glared at her full of annoyance. He struggled to take out the knife before tossing it on the ground.  "Why didn't Charles just come here himself? Does he really think sending hunters will make me want to go 'talk' to him?"

"We don't ask questions. We just do what we are paid to do." The other man said from behind me, making me roll my eyes. "Well, I'm not going with you. If he really wants to talk then he will come here himself." I said sternly as the woman stalked towards me.

"Charles doesn't take 'no' for an answer." She said before she grabbed my arm. I looked down at my arm in her grasp before I looked up at her smirking down at me. "This is me asking nicely. Do you really want me to make you leave?" I asked full of annoyance and power making her scoff as the other men rolled their eyes.

"You saw Mathew, didn't you? What makes you think I won't do the same thing to you all right now?" I continued. The hunter's features instantly sank and softened in fear before she masked it and let go of me. "Fine." Was all she said before they all finally left the house.

"Are you okay?" Damon asked quickly as he walked over to me. "Yeah. Are you?" I asked as I ran my fingers over his neck. "I'm okay too. Thanks for asking." Liam stated annoyed looking down at his blood stained shirt.

"How did the knife not hurt you?" I asked Liam ignoring his sarcasm. "I can only die by a stake to the heart." Liam explained nonchalantly as I rolled my eyes again.

"Why do you think Charles wants to talk with me? Do you think it's a trap?" I asked them hesitantly, making Liam shrug. "Probably but you can handle yourself if things go wrong." He answered, making me even more nervous.

The sun started to rise, peaking its way up behind the mountains in the distance. Sighing heavily knowing I had school soon. "Are you hungry?" I asked them, ignoring everything that just happened as I walked into the kitchen.

Damon sat down at the bar stools as he raked his hair roughly. I started making pancakes in uncomfortable silence when Harry appeared on the kitchen counter.

"What's with all the sad faces?" He asked amused until he saw Liam's chest. "What happened?" He asked as his entire demeanor changed as he hopped off the counter. "Harry's here." I turned to Liam as Harry stood in front of him full of worry.

"More hunters came to take me to Charles. When I refused they threatened their lives." I said not looking away from the batter cooking on the stove. "Is he just going to keep trying to kill you until he succeeds?" Harry asked, making me shrug lightly.
