Feeling as though a tug had been pulled out from underneath me as I stood over Damon lying limp on the ground. My kind was unable to contemplate what had happened staring down at Damon's lifeless body.

I felt paralyzed. That if I were to move it would all be real. I just had this blank look on my face. I had no reaction at first and I wanted to deny it, all of it. I kept saying to myself, no it is a lie, I'm just having a nightmare.

To my complete horror I was wrong.

Finally, I let out a sob in realization as tears streamed down my face. Crying hysterically and shaking kneeling next to him cupping his face pulling on the collar of his jacket with my trembling hands. Desperately shaking him trying to wake him up. I tried listening for his heartbeat. Anything to tell me he wasn't dead.

I let out a heart wrenching cry when I didn't hear anything come from him. I felt disoriented as tears blurred my vision. As if I lost my place and purpose in the world.

Feelings of pain and distress overwhelmed me as I continued to sob over Damon. I brought my hand down to his face and softly touched over his handsome features. I let out a sob when my fingers crushed his skin, not able to feel the sparks or warmth that used to erupt within me.

"Oh, get a grip!" Mathew beamed unimpressed. I was suddenly snapped out of my misery as the light and warmth I've felt inside of me since the moment I felt Damon simply vanished.

"It wouldn't have worked out between you two anyway." Mathew said annoyed, making my face harden in anger. Feeling my heart slowly harden into pure fury and hatred unable to see clearly.

I stood, never tearing my eyes away from Mathew's surprised expression.

All my misery and grief filled every ounce of my body as I glared up at him. "Evil spirit standing tall its time you made your greatest fall." I began focusing all my energy onto Mathew.

"What are you doing?" Mathew scoffed. His eyes raked me up and down as I continued. "Stop!" Mathew beamed clearly worried though tried not to show it. "Like your simple little chats will do anything to me."

"Return to hell thou evil plight, banish with this holy light." I finished sternly full of power and rage as tears pricked my eyes.

A small sinkhole erupted underneath Mathew's feet. Mathew called out as he fell and was sucked into the ground. Begging for help as he struggled to hold himself up out of the hole in the ground. Clawing at the grass with pleading eyes looking up at me. I stared down at him full of anger and satisfaction as he fell deep into a dark, tormented abyss.

The whole closed itself up making me turn my attention back down at Damon. Falling gently back onto my knees once again. "D-Damon..." I sobbed as I shook him lightly. "Please. You can't be dead." I pounded at his chest as my warm tears fell onto his chest.

The ground started to rumble loudly and shake beneath me, but I ignored it as I let out sob after sob. "You... Y-You aren't supposed to die like this. Please, baby. P-Please... wake up!" I said as I put his warm face in-between my hands.

"Damon." I sobbed softly pleading for him to wake up. Looking into his hooded eyes staring past me. Begging to see his deep blue eyes look at me that always held so much emotion.

"Luna." Faye whispered, making me snap my head to look up at her. Forgetting she was here. "He... He isn't going to wake up." She said as tears streamed down her face as she tried to stand upright making my face harden in anger. The ground cracked next to me from the earthquake, but I continued to ignore it as I spoke.

"Why did you even bring him here?" I spit out as I pulled my hands away from him. Faye looked at me full of uneasiness. My mind was filled with rage and revenge. "This is all your fault." I growled standing slowly as though she were my prey. Faye's eyes widened, shaking her head softly.
