"Hello, Linda." Charles said as he walked into a large mansion making me gawk at all the expensive decor. It looked as though I was walking through a museum where people were too intimidated to touch anything. "Charles. How are things?" A woman asked as she closed the door behind him.

"Is Paul home?" Charles asked, ignoring her question. "Paul, honey. Charles is here." She beamed as they walked into the large living room.

"Hello, Charles. What can I do for you?" Paul asked, making Charles plaster a fake sympathetic demeanor. "I'm afraid I have some terrible news." He began.

"Luna, the original that was supposed to help Wimborne, has gone rogue. She showed up at his home and killed him in cold blood. I am so sorry." Charles finished as Linda stumbled backwards until she sat down.

"What?" Paul asked. "She accused him of compelling his Thea into destroying the town. The woman obviously has gone mad, poor thing. It makes sense for what all her ancestors have done." Charles said in a sad tone making me frown as my blood began to boil in rage.

"Mathew is dead?" Linda asked as she looked up at Paul and Charles, making him nod lightly. "But how? H-He has been living in seclusion." She breathed out as she stood up again.

"I don't know how. There was no evidence to show how he must have died. She must have used her black magic." Charles answered.

"What are we going to do? Is she going to come after us next?" Paul asked, making me frown before Charles spoke. "We can't risk her finding you. We need to capture her. It's the only way to ensure she won't kill anyone else. I have hired the best of the best and she has killed them all and gotten away every time." He answered, making Linda look at Paul.

"You can't be serious." I scoff in disbelief as I turned around having had enough of this. "I have tried to kill her, but she is strong. She has killed my strongest men." Charles said as I looked at him.

"What?" Paul breathed out as Linda grabbed his arm lightly. "She killed all those hunters?" Linda asked making Charles nod.

"She is unhinged. She must be stopped." Charles continued making Paul nod. "Do what you have to do, brother." He said, making Charles grin wickedly before he fought it with a frown.

"I can't risk her killing any more of our blood." Charles said before everything faded as I woke up.

Opening my eyes to Damon reading next to me making me smile up at him. His wavy black hair was messy as a few strands fell over his forehead. His eyebrows were tense as he concentrated on whatever he was reading. I continued to admire him as he noticed my eyes on him.

"Hey. How did you sleep?" Damon asked as he put his book on the nightstand. My smile instantly faded taking in a deep breath. "I had a dream about Charles with Mathew's parents." I answered.

"What happened?" He asked. "Charles was telling them how I was dangerous and evil. He said that I was unhinged because I accused Mathew of killing Thea and her town." I said sadly as he looked down at me hanging onto my every word.

"I knew we should have gotten to them before Charles did.." I confessed full of guilt as Damon frowned. "We will handle whatever else they throw at us. Just like we have done in the past." Damon replied, making me nod lightly.

"What time is it?" I asked as I noticed the sun shining into the room. "Almost nine o'clock." Damon answered. "I'm starved. I'm going to grab something to eat. Do you want me to bring anything up?" I asked as I slid out of the warm bed. "No, thanks." He said with a smile as I put my hair in a messy bun.
