Chapter 14: Cyber Grimm

Forever Falls

After watching Jaune defeat the ursa major and telling him that he would need to do more training tomorrow a strange new grimm appears before them. It isn't a normal grimm because of its humanoid figure and the fact that it has biotech inside of it. Before the beast charges at them Y/N tells Jaune to go and get Glynda Goodwitch and to warn her of what's going on. After trying to stay Benny tells Jaune that he needs to go because his aura is low. With that Jaune takes off along as Y/N and team CYBR get ready to face off against the grimm

The grimm charged at the four of us ready to swing it's arm. Right at the moment it did that I yelled "Benny now!". Benny jumped in front of us in his armor and created a large barrier stopping the lance arm. What happened next suprised us the arm began to drain the energy of Benny's shield. "Guys I don't know how long I'll be able to keep this up" Benny said as he struggled. "Chris when Benny's barrier breaks I need you to attack it at the ankles and Rider go for the eyes keep it distracted" I told the two.

"What about you?" Chris asked "my eyes are picking up a weak spot in the back of the head I'm going to go for that" I answered. "I'm seeing it to are you positive it's a weak spot?" Rider asked "I'm sure" I answered. I turned to Benny "listen Benny when I say go you drop the barrier and jump back to catch your breath" I told him. "Got it Y/N" Benny replied "ready GO!" I yelled. All of did what we were supposed to do.

Benny dropped the barrier and we all began to attack the cyber grimm. Chris took the grimm out at the ankles and as it fell Rider took it's eyes out. When I went to go for the weak spot it somehow knew I was coming and hit me with the lance arm. I was sent flying back luckily Benny caught me. "It's like it knew you were going for it there" Benny said "yeah that it's weird" I said. I tried to change my arm into a weapon but it wasn't working.

"My biotech it isn't working" I said worried "what do you mean it isn't working?" Benny asked "I mean I can't move or use my arm and I'm blind out of my left eye" I answered. "Guys look out that lance can turn off biotech" I warned Rider and Chris. Rider turned to face me "what really" he said before the lance hit him. Rider crashed into some trees "I can't see anything" he said. The grimm went to hit him again but Chris jumped in the way "I'm coming blind man" he said before he was hit.

Rider began to panic badly Chris crawled over to him and grabbed on to him. "I can't see what's going on I'm scared" Rider said "I'm here buddy I got you" Chris said. Rider began to feel around "Chris is that you I can't hear or see anything" Rider said. When Rider felt Chris's ears he grabbed on to him "don't let me die" he told Chris. "I won't let that happen" Chris said as the grimm approached the two of them.

"Benny I need to do something before that thing kills Chris and Rider" I said. "Let me go save them" Benny said "no don't" I said grabbing Benny's arm "if it shuts of your biotech you'll die to" I said. The grimm was going to finish them off I needed to act fast. I took off my arm and threw it at the grimm "let me borrow this" I said grabbing Benny's weapon. I ran as fast as I could before the distracted grimm knew I was coming.

It may of shut off my biotech but my nano machines were still active. The grimm went back to trying to finish off Chris and Rider. Right as it swung it's lance down I appeared and blocked it with Benny's sword.

"What happened are we dead?" Rider asked "no we're safe...oh wait never mind" Chris said. Instead Chris tapped twice on Rider's shoulder "so we're safe" Rider said Chris sighed "annoying even with your stuff not working" he said.

The grimm swung again and I blocked again it kept swinging and I kept blocking. This time I swung and knocked the grimm's lance arm back then hit it in the body sending it flying back. Benny came over "is it dead?" he asked "no just stunned" I answered. "Take those two to safety and this" I said pointing at Chris and Rider then tossing him my arm. Benny picked up both Chris and Rider and threw them over his shoulders.
