Chapter 19: The Search

Cafe In Vale

At a cafe in Vale we see Blake and a monkey faunus talking to each other. The name of the monkey faunus was Sun Wukong or just Sun for short. He is a student who is participating in the Vytal festival. Blake met Sun when he was being chased by some sailors at the docks. Sun joined up with Blake after she ran away from the others after her secret had been revealed.

Right now they were talking to each other about the white fang. Blake brings up her past and how she was apart of the white fang to Sun. She told Sun everything she had told Y/N when he asked her. She told Sun how the white fang were once peaceful before the new leader took over. She talked about how she left and came to Beacon to become a huntress.

Sun listened quietly as Blake told him everything about her life and how she came to this moment. He was glad that she finally talked to him. As Blake finished telling Sun everything he had an important question for her. "Do you have a boyfriend?" Sun asked Blake. She looked at him for a moment confused as to what he had just asked her. "Can you please repeat that?" Blake asked Sun.

"I asked if you had a boyfriend" Sun answered "so, do you have a boyfriend yes or no?" Sun asked. Blake thought about that question for a second she thought about Y/N. Thinking about Y/N made her remember all the talks they had and the kisses they shared. Blake began to wonder what Y/N was doing right now. She guessed that he must be looking for her and that he must of been having a hard time finding her.

"So Blake do you have a boyfriend?" Sun asked getting Blake's attention. "Um, well you see it's kind of complicated" Blake answered twirling her fingers. "So there's a chance" Sun said giving Blake finger guns. That made Blake punch Sun in the arm hard. "Ouch come on Blake why do you have to be like that I was only kidding" Sun said rubbing his arm. "Yeah sure you were" Blake replied taking another drink of her coffee.

Elsewhere With Ruby, Weiss And Yang

We see Ruby, Weiss and Yang looking for Blake. Ruby wants to hear Blake's side of the story while Weiss still sees Blake as a criminal and suggests they should get the police to locate her. Yang is simply following behind as she didn't want to be alone at the dorm. She may of been a bad person but being alone wasn't something she liked. Ruby shoots down Weiss's idea of getting the authorities involved.

As Ruby and Weiss talk Yang stays silent and simply thinks about what she had heard happened to Junior. While continuing to talk and walk the group doesn't notice that Penny is behind them. Penny appears and compliments Weiss on her hair getting the group's attention. "Oh hey there Penny" Ruby says "salutations friend Ruby" Penny replies.

"May I ask where is you black haired friend Blake?" Penny asks Ruby. "Well you see Penny the thing is that Blake has been missing since Friday" Ruby tells Penny. Penny then vowed to help Ruby find Blake at all costs. Ruby tried to brush Penny off she turns around and sees that she is alone. Weiss and Yang have left her all alone with Penny. Ruby turns and sees that Penny is still talking she lets out a light sigh.

Cafe With Blake And Sun

Blake and Sun are formulating a stakeout plan to see if the white fang are really behind the dust robberies. Sun brings up the mysterious gold demon going around striking fear into the criminals in Vale. Blake hadn't taken much belief in this demon figure. Sun then mentioned something about the demon had the ability to have any weapon. That sounded very familiar to Blake it made her think about Y/N.

"It couldn't of been Y/N" Blake thought to herself. Y/N wasn't known to go looking for fights and the trouble that would follow with it. Yes he had the ability to change his arm into weapons but Y/N wasn't a violent person. She then remembered that Y/N had brought up his mental training that he went through. There was that possibility that Y/N was the gold demon and that he'd find her.
