Chapter 41: What Happened

Unknown Location

In a bright field is a young boy, he looks to be the age of 10 at least. This young boy has black hair with red in it also the young boy as a silver eye and an amber colored eye. An interesting feature of this young boy is that he has two cat ears on the top of his head. The boy is walking through the field to a house in the distance. As the boy gets closer to the house he stops walking.

On the porch of the house is an older woman who also has cat ears. She is sitting on a rocking chair and has a small baby wrapped up in her arms. The woman looks out at the boy and waves to him with a smile on her face. A hand suddenly appears on the shoulder of the boy. The young boy turns around and sees a man standing behind him. The boy knows this man and smiles at him.

The man is tall and has black hair with gray patches in it, he also has a golden eye and a clear eye with a large scar going through it. The man is wearing a black jacket and the boy can see that the man only has one arm. "Come on little buddy, let's go see your mom and your baby sister" the man says to the young boy. "Okay dad, race ya" the young boy replies running ahead of the man. "Don't think I'm going to let you win so easily" the man says with a laugh as he chases after the young boy.

"Wake up sleepy, come on now its tine for you to get up" "come on kitten let me sleep some more". "I swear to oum, Y/N Rose if you do not get up out of this bed you will be sleeping on the couch, ALONE". "Good, I get the TV all to myself and I can stay up "fine then, I guess you are going to have to change Maggie's diaper for the rest of the month". "Okay okay, I'll get up, there's no way on Remnant that will make me ever want to change those things. "Good, see you downstairs, by the way I made breakfast" "love you honey". "I love you too sweetheart, please don't take to long".

Bedroom

Y/N slowly takes off the blankets and gets up out off his bed. Y/N stretches and let's out a loud yawn before getting up. Y/N rubs the spot where his arm use to be as he walks over to the closet. Y/N opens the closet and takes out some clothes to change in to. As Y/N takes off his shirt he sees all of his scars old and new in the mirror. "Thank oum it was my charm and smile that she fell in love with" Y/N says to himself. Y/N finishes getting dressed and heads downstairs.

Time Skip

Y/N's House

Y/N runs down the stairs and smells breakfast in the kitchen "that sure does smell good" Y/N says as he walks in to the kitchen. "Dad, dad, dad" a small kid says as he runs over to Y/N as fast as he can. "Slow down Carter Rose" Blake says to her son as she makes a plate. "Easy there kid, dad is not going anywhere" Y/N says as he picks up his son. "So what has your lovely mother made for us this fine morning?" Y/N asks Carter.

"Well let's see, we've got some bacon, some sausage and eggs, since I couldn't decide on pancakes or waffles I settled and made French toast instead" Blake answered with a smile. "That actually sounds kind of delicious and it looks edible" Y/N says looking at the food. "I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult?" Blake asks. "Well honey, it is up to you, this guy and I are going to be chowing down" Y/N answers as he sits down at the table with Carter on his lap.

"Hey there my sweet Lilly" Y/N says to his little daughter who is in her highchair. Lilly giggles as Y/N rubs her chin "you know I think she looks more like you" Blake says to Y/N as she sits down. "She does have your nose though" Y/N replies "mom, dad who do I look like?" Carter asks. "Well my little dude, you happen to look like your momma over there" Y/N answers pointing at Blake. "Really dad?" Carter asks "yeah, you've got her hair, her face, one of her eyes and even her ears" Y/N answers.
