I had finally been able to get up out of my bed and walk around. I still felt like I got ran over by a bulkhead but I wasn't going to let that bother me, I had been through worse. Rider and Chris's duo match wasn't going to start for awhile, so I was going to spend some time with my team. For some reason Ruby and Blake didn't want to leave my side. They thought that I was going to fall apart like that guy who sat on a wall. I tried to assure them that I was able to walk around and that I would take it easy. They didn't belive me so they weren't going anywhere that I wasn't.
Weiss decided to join us as we walked around through the marketplace looking at all the venues. I was hoping to get Blake alone so I could give her something that I found before the incident. I had made a plan with my team to help me accomplish that, it was foolproof. Right off the bat Benny had to leave because he needed to message his family about our victory in the tournament. Chris and Rider needed to leave to go practice for their duo fight in the tournament. In an instant my plan fell apart right in front of me, hopefully something would happen.
"Hey big bro look at these" Ruby said showing me some festival masks. "Those look cool" I say "hey that one looks like the golden demon" Weiss said pointing at one of the masks. "Yes ma'am, that is a replica of the mask the infamous golden demon wore" the vendor says. Blake and I look at each other and chuckle to ourselves knowing something he didn't know. "What's so funny you two?" Weiss asked us "its nothing" I answered. As we continued to walk around Weiss saw something that got her attention. It was a bulkhead landing down "she's here" she said.
"Who's here?" I asked "my sister, my sister is here" Weiss answered. This was the moment I was hoping for "hey uh Ruby, why don't you go with Weiss" I said. "Are you sure?" Ruby asked "sure Ruby, you'll like my sister Winter" Weiss answered. "Okay then" Ruby said, with that Ruby left with Weiss to go and meet her sister. With those two gone now was my chance "hey Blake I was wondering if you wanted to go and see the fountains with me?" I asked Blake. "Sure Y/N, I wouldn't mind seeing the fountains with you.
Time Skip
I had taken Blake down to the fountains by the waterfront, this was the place I was going to give her the gift. "I don't know why but this place is one of the most beautiful spots in Vale" Blake said. "You mean besides our two other special spots?" I asked "yes besides those two" Blake answered chuckling. "So uh Blale you remember the promise we made to each other?" I asked nervously. "Which one?" Blake asked "you know the one" I answered. Blake still didn't know what I was trying to get at, I could see the confused look on her face.
I decided that there wasn't any point in dragging this on any further. "Blake you mean a lot to me more then you will ever know" I said. "What's this about?" Blake asked confused "Blake, I want you to know that I love and I when I make a promise I always keep it" I said. Blake grew even more confused, I got down on a knee and took out a black box from my pocket. I flinched a bit from the pain but I kept my composure as best as I could. Blake grew speechless seeing me open the black box to reveal the ring that a bought for her.
It was a black ring with incredible detail to it, there was a large rainbow sapphire with a special cut to it. I made sure to get the words "Say Nothing" engraved on the inside of the ring
