Chapter 17: True Feelings

Beacon Academy

Later that night after Y/N and Blake had their talk they went back to their separate dorms for the night. Y/N went back to his dorm and was greeted by his teammates. "Hey there Y/N I was wondering when you would get back" Benny said as he was cooking dinner. "Dude you have got to try this food it's awesome" Chris said. "Fang Face is right this very delectable" Rider said as he ate another bite of the stew.

"I didn't know you could cook Benny" I said to him. Benny shrugged his shoulders and rubbed the back of his head. "Well not exactly this is my grandfather's recipe, this is pretty much the only thing I know how to make besides cereal" Benny said. "Well if those two like it I would definitely love to have some" I said.

Benny grabbed a bowl and poured the stew in it. He then grabbed a spoon and put a little pinch of salt and pepper in the stew. "Gives it a little kick" he said as he handed me the bowel. I grabbed the bowl and took a bite of the stew. "Man Benny this is really good I can taste everything you put in it" I said as I took another bite. "Thanks man that means a lot" Benny said "you know if you want I can teach you how to cook other things" I suggested

"Really that would be cool of you to do but I don't want to be a burden" Benny said. "Benny it wouldn't be a burden I think everyone should learn how to cook it's up to them though if they want to" I said. "Hey Rider if Benny learns how to cook like Y/N that means we'll have double the good food" Chris whispered "that's exploitation but in this case I understand what you mean" Rider replied.

We all laughed and had a good time over the food. It had gotten really late then when my scroll began to go off. "Hey Y/N it's Ruby" Rider said handing  me my scroll. I opened it and answered "hey there Ruby whatcha need?" I asked. "Y/N it's important, this is serious, we need your help, this is terrible" Ruby said quickly. "Calm down Ruby, I need you to slow down and tell me what is going on" I said. Ruby took a breath and told me what was going on. "It's Blake she ran away" Ruby said. I immediately hung up "what's going on?" Benny asked "yeah man you look worried" Chris said "is it serious?" Rider asked. I didn't say anything to them I just ran out of our dorm down to Ruby's dorm.

Time Skip

I ran into Ruby's dorm surprising her and Weiss. "Where's Blake?" I asked "she ran away" Ruby answered. Ruby gave me a hug "I'm worried about her" Ruby said. "What happened, why did she run away?" I asked "her and Weiss got into an argument" Ruby answered. "Did you know that she's a faunus and that she's also a member of the white fang?" Weiss asked dramatically. "Yes I knew she was a faunus and that she was once a member of the white fang before they became a terrorist group" I answered.

"You knew and didn't warn anyone do you know that you endangered people" Weiss said. That angered me that she said that I didn't know what happened next but my body acted on its own. My hand became claws and I grabbed Weiss by her neck and lifted her up in the air. Ruby began to worry "Y/N put her down don't do this" she begged. "Listen to me Schnee and listen good Blake is a faunus and she is ashamed of being who she is why do you think she hid her ears from you and everyone else in this school also she joined a group who she thought would help her fit in and feel like she belonged yes she's made mistakes in her life haven't we all" I told her.

Weiss was chocking as my grip tightened "Y/N let her go, your going to kill her" Ruby said. I realized what I was doing and dropped Weiss. She began to cough and rub her neck as she stood up. "You don't get it do you, I have been dealing with hardships all of my life because of the white fang my father's company has been dealing with hard times which angers my father making my childhood very unpleasant, do you know what is like to have something stolen from you over and over again and just don't know why?" Weiss asked yelling at me.

"Yes I do know" I answered I took off my arm and showed it to her I then lifted my eyelids and showed her my fake eye. With that I took off my shirt and showed her all of the scars from my childhood the ones from Tai, Yang and the scientists. "All my life I've always wondered what I did wrong to deserve this, why must I always have these constant reminders of what happened to me, so don't go around acting like you are the only one in this world who has suffered" I told Weiss. She just stared at me speecheless Weiss didn't say anything to me.

"Ruby I am going to go and look for Blake and make sure she is alright and comes back, I don't know how long I will be gone" I told Ruby. She hugged me "please bring her back to us big brother" Ruby said. I left the dorm and began to leave the school grounds until I got stopped. "Y/N where are you going?" Benny asked me. I turned around faced them my team Benny, Chris and Rider. "I'm going to find Blake and bring her back" I answered.

"Well we're coming with you" Chris said "no your not I'm doing this alone" I responded. "You can't go out there alone" Benny said "I need to Benny I can't think about Blake being out there alone, I get this weird feeling and I just don't know what to do" I said. "You love her" Rider said "you love her and what to protect her" he added. It made sense what Rider was saying was I feeling love something I hadn't felt in a very long time. "Do you love her Y/N?" Rider asked "yes I do, I love Blake" I answered.

Rider smiled "good now go after her if you need us just contact us we'll be there" he said. "Wait are we just going to let him leave alone?" Chris asked confused. "Yes we are, Rider is right if he needs us we'll be there for him, right now he needs to go after the woman he loves" Benny said patting Chris's shoulder. Chris let out a sigh "oh and Benny your in charge, Rider your second in command" I said.

"Hey wait that is so not fair why can't I be in charge?" Chris asked. "Don't worry buddy maybe next time" I said. With that I left my team and Beacon. I had messaged Ozpin and told him what I was doing and that I didn't know how long I was going to be gone. He said that he'd tell Glynda and make sure she didn't go out looking for me.
