Chapter 24: Splitting Up

Professor Port's Class

We see Y/N sitting next to his team while professor Port is telling the class one of his famous stories. Y/N was looking at the clock waiting for it to signal when class was over. Y/N had heard from Blake that they were planning on stopping the white fang and Roman Torchwick. She had told him that her and the rest of team RWBY were going to stop them. At first Y/N was against the idea of putting his baby sister in harm's way but Blake reminded him that she was a huntress in training.

Something else was bothering Y/N though why would Yang agree to go and help them. Ever since the entrance ceremony Yang had mostly kept to herself and avoided contact with her team as best as possible. Was Yang trying to change her ways or was she doing this for her own personal reasons. Either way Y/N didn't like he and his team would later go their dorms and offer to help them out.

As Port continued his story Y/N began to think about a nightmare that he had last night. It was a very similar nightmare that he had after the formation of the 1st year teams. He kept hearing two different voices telling him things. One wanted him wanted to use him and hurt his friends and loved ones that was the voice who would whisper to him trying to do things. Then there was another voice it was more feminine then the other one and it wanted him to be free and give into his true nature and shed his human skin.

While was thinking to himself the bell rang announcing that class was over. "Come on Y/N let's get going" Benny said getting Y/N's attention. "Oh yeah, let's get going" Y/N said grabbing his bag. "I would prefer we were early instead of late" Rider said walking out if the classroom. "Blind man does have a point knowing the girls they might do something brash" Chris said.

Time Skip

Team RWBY's Dorm

We see all of team RWBY in their dorm all in their new outfits. They soon then begin to discuss their plans for the investigation. It had been decided that Weiss and Ruby would go to the Cross Continental Transmit tower and look over the Schnee Dust Company records for any inconsistencies and robberies. Blake would go and sneak into and attend a white fang meeting so she could learn what their plans were. Yang would be going to pay her informant Junior Xiong a visit on shady side of town.

"Nice plan and all but what Neptune and I do?" Sun asked startling the girls. "What is the chimp doing here?" Yang asks "yeah who invited you?" Weiss asks. "Well you see I figured you ladies were up to something so Neptune and I figured we'd help you out" Sun says. "Yeah you girls need all the help you can get" Neptune says. "I also figured my little sister could use the extra man power" a voice said.

They all turned around and saw Y/N standing there with his team. "Big brother your here" Ruby says running over to him to give him a hug. "Oh yeah he's here" Yang says sarcastically Blake elbows her in the side. "Ouch what the hell?" Yang asks Blake with a whisper "you want to get back in your sister's favor don't you?" Blake asks Yang. Hearing that Yang just lets out a low sigh of mild irritation.

My team and I went to see if Ruby and her team had left yet and when we got to her dorm we see them all there with that Sun and his friend Neptune. I decided to make our presence know so I spoke up after Neptune was done speaking. Hearing my voice and seeing me standing there Ruby ran over there and gave me a hug. I looked over and saw that Yang was here which was a surprise to me. I remember Blake saying she was going with them but I didn't believe it.

After my team and I all came in Ruby began to tell us what the plan was. Now that my team was here as was Sun and Neptune new teams would need to be made. Ruby wanted me to go with her and Weiss to the transmit tower. I saw Sun get real close to Blake when he said he'd go with her to the white fang meeting. I decided against that and said that I would go with Blake and Sun. Ruby was a little disappointed when I said that but once she saw how close Sun was to Blake she understood.
