Chapter 35: Battle For Vale

Y/N was on the train trying to figure out how to stop it when a new cyber grimm appeared. By that time it was too late for Y/N to stop the train. It ended up colliding with the cyber grimm which caused the train to crash into Vale. The explosion created a large cloud of smoke and dust. Y/N ended up stuck under a piece of rubble. He could hear the grimm coming from the other end of the tunnel. Right away Y/N's nano machines increased his strength allowing him to push the rubble off of him.

Y/N got up and used his hearing to find out where his team and the others were. Once he got a read on them his nano machines made it so he could run faster. Y/N ran through the smoke and dust cutting down any grimm that tried to stop him. Y/N then jumped over a destroyed train car and saw his team fighting off the grimm.

I finally found my team, it looked as though they were holding their own against the grimm coming at them from all over. Benny was in his full armor taking on ursas and ursa majors. Chris was fighting off beowolves and alpha beowolves. Rider was picking off any grimm that came at them. I saw a large beowolf try to get Rider when his back was turned. Before the grimm could get to him I jumped down and fired my railgun at the grimm killing it instantly.

"It's Y/N" Chris said "Y/N, you found us" Benny said as he cut a ursa in half. "Thanks for the save" Rider said "don't worry about it" I replied. "What happened with the train?" Chris asked. "It was a cyber grimm and I couldn't stop it" I answered. "Another one" Chris said surpised "it seems like those cyber grimm always arrive and make things worse for us" Rider said as he froze a nevermore with an arrow. "We are the only ones who can kill those things" Benny said as he sawed three ursa in half. "Either way it isn't here, hopefully it isn't busy with Ruby and the others" I replied.

"Speaking of Ruby, her and her team are defending the square" Benny said. "Alright after we finish up here we'll go and help them out" I replied. Suddenly a large king taijitu appeared before us. Snakes, I hate snakes" Rider said readying his bow. As the two headed snake grimm lunged at the four of us something happened. One of the snake heads fell of like it was cut by a sword. The other snake screeched in pain before it's head got cut in half killing it instantly. As it's body fell to the ground we could see the large cyber grimm standing behind it with blood on it's sword.

"Cyber grimm hate regular grimm, noted" Chris said "it looks like a knight" Benny said. "Either way it needs to be stopped before it kills someone" I replied. "What's the plan for this one?" Rider asked "it has a sword for attacking and shield for blocking" Chris replied. "Really Sherlock? I couldn't tell" Rider replied smacking the back of Chris's head. "No fighting you two" I said giving them a glare "okay" they both replied. "Benny I need you to something about that shield, Rider once that shield isn't blocking hit it as many times as you can, Chris you will be cutting it down with the legs while I deal with the sword and find the core" I told my team.

"On it" Benny said as his helmet formed around his head "Count on me Y/N" Chris said as he activated his semblance fully transforming into a wolf "I'll pick my shots" Rider said as he readied an arrow. "Alright fellas, let's go" I said transforming my arm into a flamethrower. Benny charged at the cyber grimm and swung his sword down on it's shield. Chris charged at the cyber grimm and cut it down at the legs. Rider fired multiple arrows at the cyber grimm hitting it's vital spots. I launched myself into the air and began to use my flamethrower.

The cyber grimm turned its attention to me and rammed it's sword into my flamethrower destroying it. The cyber grimm then kicked Benny off of it's shield and slammed the bottom of it into my chest. The force of that attack caused me to crash into a destroyed train cart. "Y/N you okay?" Rider asked coming to my side. I got up and saw that my flamethrower was destroyed. "I'm alright I'm just going to need a new flamethrower" I answered. "Benny and Chris are holding it off, I don't know for how long though" Rider said.
