Chapter 25: Berserker's Rage

With all the girls out of the way my team and I could properly take care of this new cyber grimm instead of having to worry about their safety. The grimm had finally repaired itself from my railgun blast. Before the team and I could make a proper plan to defeat the grimm it roared and charged at us. Luckily all of us were quick enough to dodge it. But then it happened again the grimm kept charging at us non stop. It was relentless and my team were unable to get any hits in without having to dodge it's attacks.

I didn't want any of them getting hit by those blades if they could drain my nano machines I didn't want their biotech getting shut off. Chris wouldn't be able to walk, Rider wouldn't be able to hear or see and Benny would be paralyzed from the neck down. To make some time for us to hatch a plan I turned my arm into the scythe blade. I would quickly cut off the grimm's arms and legs while switching my scythe blade into the flamethrower and lighting the grimm on fire.

While it was busy repairing it's body from all of the damage my team and I could make a plan to defeat it. "Okay guys so I don't know how long that's going to last, we need a plan and we need one now" I said. "This one has a faster healing factor then the other one" Chris said. "Yeah it seems like every time we kill it, the thing doesn't die the same way twice" Rider said. "It could be that it's body is adapting like Y/N does" Benny suggested. "That actually makes sense" I said "but how do we kill something that's always adapting?" Rider asked.

"We overload it's body" I answered "what do you mean?" Chris asked. "Well when I was younger my body could only adapt to one thing at a time" I answered "so if we hit it with multiple different attacks it's body won't know what to do" Benny said. "Cutting and stabbing won't work so let's hit it with elemental attacks" Rider said. "Great let's put this plan into action" I said right as we finished our plan the cyber grimm had finished repairing it's body. The thing roared and charged at us ready to attack.

Our plan began Benny charged forward with his sword out. When both of them collided there was a shockwave. Benny held the grimm back but it kept swinging trying to hit him. Rider fired fire dust infused arrows at the grimm's face. With it distracted Benny with his sword turned it into the plasma saw and began to cut into the grimm's body shocking it with each cut. Chris unleashed his inner beast and jumped on the back off the grimm his claws infused with ice dust.

While those three kept attacking it I formed my plasma caster and began to run around firing at the grimm. It looked as though we were going to win the grimm's body could not handle all of our attacks. But suddenly it happened the grimm's body released a blast of energy knocking all of us back. When we looked up we saw the creature grab Benny by the neck. Benny struggled to get free but the grimm's grasp on his neck was to strong. Before we even knew it the grimm with one of its blades stabbed Benny in the stomach twice.

I don't what happened something in me snapped in a blind rage I charged at the grimm. It looked up and saw me about to attack it threw Benny's body to the side and tried to attack me. I did get hit by its blades but they passed through me thanks to my nano machines. My arm became my sword and I latched myself on to the grimm. In my rage I continued to cut into the grimm's body trying to get to the core to kill it.

Right as I saw the blue core I was about to finish it when the grimm stabbed me and threw me into a wall. As the grimm charged me it was stopped by my team. Rider hit it with an explosive arrow while both Benny and Chris in his full wolf form hit the grimm so hard it flew into the air. Finally Rider's explosive arrow went off and the explosion sent the grimm crashing into the water. My team then ran over to me to see if I was okay.

"Y/N stay with us" Benny said "come on man don't die" Chris said "he's not going to die, don't be so dramatic" Rider told Chris. "Benny are you alright?" I asked "yeah I'm okay that thing didn't kill me I don't have nano machines so my body is fine" Benny answered. "What about you though?" Chris asked "yeah I don't think you can take much more of this" Rider said. I struggled to get up but then I fell only for Benny to catch me "take it easy" Benny said.
