After what happened at the white fang meeting Chris, Blake, Sun and I had managed to escape Roman. I had Blake contact the others to tell them to meet up with us. Right away I could hear Roman and his paladin chasing after us. I would use my rifle arm to try and slow him down but these new paladins were not so easy to destroy I even used my minigun but for someone reason my bullets just bounced off the armor. If we made it out of this alive I was going to have a long talk with Ironwood. Eventually we made it to the others and I explained to them what was going on.
Roman had finally caught up to us "looks like you brought me new targets to test my shiny new paladin on" he said. "Yeah that's not the way I see it" I replied forming my sniper rifle. "Okay everyone I we all need to stop this thing" I said "RIGHT!!!" they all said. Once I gave the signal for everyone to go ahead they all charged at Roman in his paladin. Sun and Neptune attacked together but were sadly backhanded into some buildings. With my vision I could see that they were still alive which was good.
I stayed to the back and tried to weaken the paladin's armor with my sniper. Weiss came in and with her sword and ice dust she froze the ground under the paladin and with Benny ramming into it the paladin slipped and fell down to the area bellow. We all jumped down and regrouped with Ruby who was cutting away at the paladin. Yang charged at the paladin but was knocked into the air. I acted quickly and caught her "let go of me" she said struggling to get free.
"A thank you would be nice" I said "the day I thank you is the day you die" Yang replied. I sighed and went back to fighting the paladin. It went on like this for sometime it felt like we were actually doing some damage to the paladin. I could tell Roman was getting nervous. Suddenly one of the arms opened up and out came a giant chaingun that began to fire on everyone. I jumped in front and did get hit but luckily my shield arm kept everyone safe.
"I am going to cut you all down" Roman said Roman began to walk forward continuing to fire the chaingun. I was getting pushed back by the force of the bullets I didn't know how long I could keep this up. "Rider I need some help" I said "I've got you, Y/N don't worry" Rider replied. "Weiss I'm going to need your help I used all of my ice arrows keeping Ruby and Penny safe" Rider said to Weiss. "What do you need me to do?" she asked "cast an ice glyph on my arrows" Rider answered. Weiss nodded and as Rider fired at the paladin's arms and legs Weiss's glyphs causes his arrows to freeze the limbs of the paladin.
I took this moment to run as fast as I could at the paladin Roman was struggling to get it free. With my mace arm I broke the ice around the chaingun. What happened next was before Roman could fire it again I rammed my hand down one of the barrel. My nano machines acted on their own and began to disable the chain gun and absorb it. It was like what happened with the liquid metal and the railgun.
My nano machines took the technology and applied it to my minigun upgrading it even further. When I was done with all of my strength I kicked Roman and his paladin back causing it to fall over. My new minigun came out and I began to fire on Roman.
