^^Sorta what I picture Ash looking like... not entirely though

Ash's POV

The week at Aunt Rosy's flew by, and now were spending the last day preparing to head home.

It's also January 3rd.

But the thing about today, is that it's my 17th birthday. Nobody knows, except Mark and Stormie, and I kinda want it to stay that way.

That's why I'm nervous to go back, because I don't want them to spill the beans to everyone, and then them feel bad and blah blah blah.

I put the last of my belongings into my backpack, and sighed.

I'm gonna miss Aunt Rosy. Even though I've only known her for a week, but still.

I walked slowly down the hallway, and swung my backpack over my shoulder.

"Bye Aunt Rosy," I said hugging her. Everybody else said the same, and joined in on the hug.

We hugged so tight, I'm shocked she is still breathing.

We released like 30 seconds later, and Riker said, "Well, I guess we should get going, thanks for letting us stay Aunt Rosy!"

"Anytime sweetie," she replied.

We said our last goodbyes, and we all exited her room.

~~~~~~~~~~~
The plane ride back was pretty uneventful, so speaking in my terms, means boring.
We left the airport, and headed towards the van.
I scooted in the back in between Rocky and Ross. I rested my head on Ross' shoulder. I felt my eyes getting droopy, and I started to let sleep take over me.
"Oh yeah, happy birthday Ash!" Stormie said looking at me.
Shoot.
Everyone's eyes turned towards to me, for like the 30th time this week. It was really starting to annoy me.
I lifted my head off of Ross' very comfy shoulder, and shot everyone a nervous smile.
"Hey guys," I quietly said.
"Why didn't you tell us!" Ellington said.
"Well maybe cause I didn't want you guys to know," I replied.
"No ship Sherlock," he said rolling his eyes.
"As much as I love presents and stuff, I didn't want any from you guys, considering all you went through for me. I feel kinda bad about it I guess," I looked down while twiddling my thumbs.
"So what! I don't care that we went through tons of things for you! We love you, and that's all that matters!" Rydel said.
I smiled at them, and unbuckled my seatbelt. I just noticed now, that we have been parked in our driveway for like 3 minutes. I hopped out of the car, hearing the sound of my shoes hitting the pavement.
"I have an idea!" Stormie shouted beckoning everyone over.
I walked up to her, but she shooed me away saying, "Everyone but Ash!"
Ugh, she hates me.
I sat on the hood of the car, drawing little pictures in the light layer of frost on the roof.
Rydel's POV
"Okay, here's the plan," Stormie said.
"You guys take her to the mall, and Me and Dad will set up for a party, and well invite everyone we know over, okay?" She said.
