6- finding out who my mum is

Two weeks after my conversation with Chloe, Bex came around saying that she had an update for us.

Bex: "I've found your mum, we've done all the checks and everything and it confirms that it is her"
Me: "ok, what can you say?"
Bex: "her name is Janette, she's a professional dancer. She's thought about you every day and she's recently had to talk about what happened and she wants to meet. It's entirely up to you if you want to see her"
Me: "wow, isn't she on the tv?"
Bex: "she is, I'll give you some time to digest this and theres no rush on your decision"

*talking to Chloe later on while Ashley's out*

Chloe: "you ok?"
Me: "trying to get my head around everything that Bex said earlier and I really don't know what to do. I don't want anything between us to change."
Chloe: "Ashley and I will support your decision no matter what you decide to do and we'll always be here for you"
Me: "thanks, it means a lot. Part of me is saying meet her then go from there as I can always decide that I don't want to know her but the other part is like you've gone through your life not knowing her so why do it now?"
Chloe: "if it was me, I'd meet her and see how it goes then take it from there"
Me: "if I do meet her will you and Bex be there?"
Chloe: "Bex definitely will as it'll be part of the conditions of the meeting and if you want me there, I'll be there. I'm taking this at your pace"
Me: "thanks Chloe, can you ask Bex to set up a meeting"
