Finding my mum

50- being reunited with Amy and Stacey

I hadn't seen Stacey since I was last at the studio or Amy since I met the female pros at Janette's. I'd spoken to them most days with them checking in on me to see if I was ok. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't missed them.

Ashley and Chloe dropped me off at the studio and said to call if I needed picking up. I turned around as Stacey and Kevin were walking past.  I gave Stacey a hug and hi fived Kev.

Stacey: "welcome back"
Me: "thanks, it's good to be back"
Kev: "do Aljaz and Janette know you're here?"
Me: "not yet"
Stacey: "come on. You can walk in with us and we'll help you find them"
Me: "thanks"

We walked in, signed in at reception and went straight to the star bar where everyone was. Amy was first over to give me a hug followed by Nadiya, Di and Luba.

Nadiya: "hi"
Me: "hi, how's training going?"
Nadiya: "good thanks. If you need anything let me know"
Me: "thank you"
Amy: "it's good to have you back, it's been too quiet without you"
Me: "I've missed being here. Can I watch your camera blocking again please?"
Amy: "of course you can. I'm rehearsing soon so we should go get ready"

After watching Amy's camera block with Stacey, I stayed around to watch the other girls.

Once the girls had finished, they wanted to know if I wanted to hang out in the girls dressing room with them. Stacey had to sort some things out so she couldn't come with us. It was nice to get to know them more and to feel like I was welcome. Of course I stayed close to Amy as I felt happier when I was with her but I spoke to the others more than I had when we were at Janette's.

There was a knock at door and Stacey entered wanting to talk to me about something so I followed her to our dressing room. "Hey, what's up?" "Nothing" "Stace you know you can tell or ask me anything" "I just wanted to check in and see how you are" "I've been better and I've been worse. How are you?" "Do you want to talk about it? Missed having my camera block through watching buddy" "I've missed you too"
