42- revealing the truth to the strictly cast

All the pros and celebs looked around confused and I knew that this was the moment everyone would find out the truth.

Janette and I moved away from each other. I went over to Amy who saw how shaken I was and gave me a hug, while Stacey rubbed her hand on my shoulder trying to stop me from shaking. I'd never been good with loads of people looking at me let alone a room full of people who I didn't know.

Dianne: "what's going on? How do you know each other?"
Janette: "I can explain"
Dianne: "go on"
Janette: "this is Ava my daughter"

Everyone kept looking between me and Janette trying to get their heads around the news. I just kept my head buried in Amy's chest trying to blank it out. Amy could feel me shaking.

Amy: "I'm going to take her for some air, she's really not coping"
Janette: "look after her for me please. I'll come find you in a bit"
Amy: "of course. You coming Stacey?"

I turned my head towards Stacey who looked at me as if to say do you want me to so I nodded and she came to.

We went back to the empty dressing room. Stacey went to get us a drink while Amy stayed with me. All I could do was sit there shaking. I suddenly felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I looked to see who it was; it was Chloe so I read it

Hey princess, hope you're having an amazing time and enjoy the weekend. Missing you loads and I'll see you Monday.

I just wanted to be at home with Chloe right now.

I quickly text her back so she didn't worry

Missing you loads too. Can't wait to see you Monday. If you need me message me

Stacey came back and could see that I was a bit brighter.

Stacey: "do you want to talk about the situation?"
Amy: "it's entirely up to you and we're here if you do or don't want to"
Me: "thank you. I've just never been good with loads of people looking at me and I'm even worse if I don't know them"
Amy: "we get that. Can't be easy with everything you've been through lately."
Me: "it really isn't. This weekend was meant to be about spending time with Janette but instead it's turned into everyone looking at me and finding out the truth"

I could feel myself getting emotional again. Amy pulled me in for a hug while Stacey sat the other side rubbing my back again.

After I'd calmed down, Amy received a message from Janette wondering where we were. I told her not to tell her my exact location as I wanted it to stay between Stacey, her and me. We arranged to meet in the girls dressing room.

I wasn't looking forward to this conversation at all.
