Finding my mum

14- introducing Chloe to Janette

Today was the day that I introducing Janette and Chloe to each other. Janette had got on with Ashley when we were last there and could see that I liked him.

Noah was doing a lot better than he was when I was last here. Janette couldn't wait to see us properly meet today and for me to see how much he'd grown.

Janette signalled for us to come in and the next thing Janette knew I was running over and hugging her. As soon as I saw Noah I went over to him. "He's looking so much better and he's grown so much. How's he doing?" "Much better. Should hopefully be able to take him home soon"

Just as Bex was about to introduce Chloe and Janette, I turned around and looked at Bex who instantly knew that I wanted to do the introductions. Once I had introduced them, Chloe wanted to talk to Janette and I could tell that Janette was nervous. They left me and Bex with Noah and went into the corridor.

"He's got so much bigger and he's so much happier now. Did they find out what was wrong with him?" I asked as Chloe and Janette came back from their conversation.  "He definitely has now that he can eat and keep it down" Janette replied. "Chloe have you met him?" I asked with Chloe's response answering the question. I instantly felt bad as I saw Chloe run off with tears streaming down her face.

Bex ran after her leaving Janette and I with Noah. "I didn't mean to upset her" I said close to tears. "Hey, come here. I know you didn't mean it and so does Chloe. Just give her time to calm down" Janette replied with her arms out ready to give me a hug. I sobbed whilst Janette tried to comfort me like I'd done for her when we first met.

After I had calmed down, Janette started talking to me about what I wanted to do on our visits after Noah was out of hospital. "I was hoping we'd get some time just us as I wanted to ask you something without anyone else around." I came out with which panicked Janette a bit. "Go ahead" Janette replied trying not to sound panicked. "You know if the social say that I can live with you, Aljaz and Noah, I'll still be able to see Chloe and Ashley won't I?" I burst out. "Is it something you'd like to happen?" Janette asked knowing that she already knew the answer. I nodded. "If it's something you want then of course, I'm not exactly going to stop you seeing them." "Thanks Janette" I said just as Chloe and Bex came back. Chloe and I looked at each other then ran up to each other.
