During the day especially when Ashley came back we didn't talk about it.
That night, Chloe and I were watching a movie that Ashley wasn't really into so he went to bed early leaving us to watch the movie in peace and to talk.
Me: "how you feeling?"
Chloe: "alright I guess. Just got to get through tomorrow's appointment then take it from there"
Me: "your little princess will be with you every step of the way"
Chloe: "have I ever told you how much you mean to me and how lost I'd be without you?"
Me: "once maybe. It'll be ok"
Chloe: "hope so"
We spent the rest of the night curled up on the sofa watching the movie not thinking about how after tomorrow everything is going to change.
