The First Night Home: Phun and Noh

Phun drove two sleeping boys home from the hospital. Klaus fell asleep before they even left the hospital while Noh made it about ten minutes into the drive. The past three days, Noh has been healing and learning to take care of Klaus even more with Phun and the nurses. They were also enjoying their son who they think is the cutest baby boy ever.

He pulled into the driveway of their house and turned off the car. He looked at his husband and their son in the rear view mirror and wondered how he got so lucky. He smiled before getting out. He walked around the car to Noh's side and opened his door. Noh woke up and immediately looked over at Klaus to check on him.

"He's still sleeping" Phun said. Noh relaxed and got out of the car. Phun unbuckled the carseat and took it out. Noh wasn't allowed to carry anything heavier than the baby and the carseat with the baby in it was to heavy. They went inside before taking off their shoes and set the carseat down on the floor in the living room. Phun undid the seatbelt and taking Klaus out carefully. Klaus whimpered, not liking being moved.

"Since he has already been fed before we left, he will probably be up in a few hours let's take a nap, plus you know what the doctor said." Phun said.

"How can I forget it when he stressed it so much?" He said before his voice went deep like Doctor Lee was. "I can't stress enough how much you need to be careful and try to get some more rest." Phun chuckled before they headed upstairs to Klaus's room. They entered the room and headed over to the crib before setting him carefully down. They made sure the baby monitor was on before they left the room and went into theirs.

"Is he going to be okay in there?" Noh asked.

"Yes, if he wakes up he will cry and we will hear it and go to him, now get in bed and rest before I call Doctor Lee and tell him you are not following his directions." Phun said.

"Fine tattle tale" Noh grumbled before climbing into bed. They fell asleep a few minutes later. A cry through the monitor woke them up, Phun had to stop Noh from jumping out of bed to go to Klaus. They both got up and headed out of the bedroom. Noh headed into Klaus's room while Phun headed downstairs to the kitchen to make a bottle for Klaus.

During the past three days, Phun has learned a lot. Besides learning to care for Klaus, Phun learned that Noh was very protective and cautious when it came to their son, he was protective but calmer than Noh. Things were going to be very interesting now. Phun checked the temperature of the bottle and found it was just the right temperature. He left the kitchen and headed back upstairs to Klaus's room to find Noh in the rocking chair with a crying Klaus. Phun handed the bottle to him and Noh put the nipple in Klaus's mouth. Klaus clamped down on that sucker and sucked like it was the greatest thing on earth.

"Why don't you go back to sleep since it's almost eight at night?" Noh said.

"Are you sure?" Phun asked.

"Yeah, we will do just fine without you right now." He said. Phun nodded before leaning down and kissing him.

"Don't over do it, if you feel tired wake me up."

"I will be fine" Noh said.

"Love you"

"Love you too"
