Dealing With The Haters: Arthit and Kongpob

FIVE YEARS OLD

Arthit and Kongpob were woken up by Kyla Joy's body as it flopped onto theirs, they groaned before grabbing a laughing KJ and pulling her into their arms like a sandwich with her in the middle.

"It's time to get up" she said.

"No, you must pay for what you did." Kong said before he and Arthit began to tickle her. She screamed with laughter while trying to escape them.

"Let me go!!" She yelled.

"Never!!" they yelled. Kyla Joy finally escaped and got off the bed.

"You promised that we can go to the park today, Papa." She said.

"Let's start with making breakfast and getting dressed before we go to the park." Arthit said. Kyla Joy nodded before running out of the room.

"She's definitely your daughter in the morning, since we both know I'm not a morning person." Arthit said before stretching and yawning. Kongpob chuckled before leaning in and kissing his cheek.

"Good morning"

"Good morning, let's go make breakfast before our daughter loses her mind." He said getting out of bed. Kyla Joy was not a patient person, she is definitely Arthit's kid when it comes to that.

"And who did she get that from?" Kong teased.

"Shut up or you will regret it." He said making Kong chuckle.

"HURRY UP, I'M HUNGRY!!!" Kyla Joy yelled from down the hall.

"HEY, BE NICE AND WATCH WHO YOU ARE YELLING AT!!" Arthit yelled back making Kongpob chuckle again before getting out of bed. Kyla Joy's personality was a mash of her parents and so was her looks. She is smart, kind, funny, loves to dance which Kong and Arthit had no clue where she got that from since they are not great dancers. She is honest to a fault and won't stand for anyone messing with her family or friends.

They made their way downstairs where they found KJ watching cartoons. They went into the kitchen where Kongpob (who had gotten better at cooking) started making breakfast while Arthit poured the drinks before joining Kyla Joy in the living room. After breakfast, Arthit took Kyla Joy and gave her a bath since last night she was just too tired to take one, while Kong did the dishes. After that Kong and Arthit took a quick shower together while KJ got dressed and brushed her teeth. After getting dressed Kongpob braided Kyla Joy's hair then did his own before they all headed to the car when they were all ready to go.

The park was one of Kyla Joy's favorite places, she loved going down the slides and having one of her parents push her on the swing, she loved playing tag or hide and seek especially when her friends were around. Today, her friends and their parents were going to be there so Kyla Joy was excited. Her friend's parents were totally cool with gay people and welcomed them into their group. The only couple who had a problem with it was Mr. and Mrs. Saetan and their rude daughter Aim, they were like all assholes who thought gay marriage was wrong and that Kyla Joy was an abomination. They had never told Kyla Joy about what other people have told them that the Saetans are saying about her or them sine they didn't need her hearing that bullshit.

They made it to the park to find Kyla Joy's two friends and their parents have arrived already, they also noticed that the Saetans were here as well. As they watched Kyla Joy run towards her friends once they set her on her feet on the grass, Arthit turned his head to look at Kongpob.

"They better not start shit." He said.

"Let's just ignore them and enjoy our day off with our daughter." Kongpob replied as they made their way to the group of parents.

"Nice to see you two again" Windy, one of the mothers said hugging them both.

"Nice to see you too" Kong said. After saying their hellos, they all said down at a picnic table close to the playground where the kids were currently playing.

"I can't believe they showed up here after what they did last time." Kitty, mother of Sunny, one of Kyla's friends said.

"Did we miss something?" Arthit asked.

"A whole bunch of shit went down two days ago while you were at KJ's doctor appointment." Kitty's husband Frank said.

"A lesbian couple brought their kid here to play on the playground and those assholes said loud enough for everyone to hear that it should be illegal for those unnatural people to bring their damned kids here." Kitty said.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Arthit said pissed.

"Nope, they made the couple cry which pissed everyone off, Kitty stood up and told the Saetans that it should be illegal for assholes to bring their kids here and then a fight almost broke out between Kitty and Mrs. Saetan." Windy's husband Rocky said.

"Someone needs to-" Kongpob was about to say but a commotion coming from the playground drew everyone's attention. Arthit and Kongpob shot up when they saw Kyla Joy and Aim fighting. They ran over and pulled their daughter away as the Saetans pulled their daughter back.

"She started it!!" Kyla Joy yelled.

"Yeah she did" June, Kitty's daughter said.

"She came to us and told KJ that she and her daddies were going to hell and when KJ tried to leave Aim attacked her."

"Obviously lies, keep you abomination away from my daughter." Aim's mom said.

"Shut up you stupid lady" Kyla Joy said.

"Watch who you are talking to you devil's-" Aim's dad said but was interrupted when Arthit's fist slammed into his nose, the sound of the crack brought Arthit extreme satisfaction.

"He broke my nose" The man screamed.

"You are lucky it was just your nose." Arthit yelled. "If you ever call my daughter names again, you will wish you were never born."

"You will be hearing from our lawyers." The woman said helping her husband towards their car.

"Same here" Kong said. They left the park after that and went home and when they got home, Kong called the family lawyer and told them what happened and their family lawyer asked them if they wanted to press charges. Kong looked at the bruises forming on Kyla Joy's face and arms before giving his answer. Yes.
