ONE YEAR OLD
Klaus laughed as Noh tickled his belly. Phun was finishing up at work and would be home soon to have dinner with them. This past few months have been both the most stressful and amazing of Noh's life. Klaus has grown over the past year and has a huge personality. He's sweet, joyful, adventurous, sneaky and charismatic. He can be independent but also has some separation anxiety when either Noh or Phun leave the room. He would cry for a second before crawling to wherever his parents went.
Noh was kinda jealous that Klaus looked more like Phun but he did see a little of him in Klaus so he was okay with it, plus Klaus is more of a Papa's boy than a Daddy's boy. Klaus was definitely excited when his Dad came home but there was just a bond between Klaus and Noh that couldn't be matched. Of course Phun and Klaus had their bond but not like Noh and Klaus's.
Klaus laughed as he escaped Noh's clutches and crawled away to freedom. Klaus was showing signs of walking. He had mastered pulling himself up everything that was bolted down so it was just a matter of time when he would take his first steps.
The door opened making Noh and Klaus looked over at it. They smiled as Phun walked into the door. Klaus crawled over to him and grabbed his pant leg as Phun pushed the door shut.
"Hey Buddy, how was your day?" Phun asked him. Klaus babbled before suprising his parents when he said his first word.
"Pa-pa"
"Did he just say..?" Phun said
"I think he did." Noh said smiling.
"Klaus, can you say Da-Da?"
"N..No" he said making Phun frown and Noh laugh. Klaus laughed before crawling towards Noh.
"Looks like you just got rejected." Noh said through his laughter.
"You can stop laughing it isn't that funny." Phun said sitting down on the couch.
"Come on it's freaking hilarious." Noh said moving so he was kneeling in front of Phun. Noh leaned in and kissed him, hoping that it would make him feel better.
"How about when Klaus goes down for the night we have so fun, what do you think?" Noh said against Phun's lips.
"Sounds good to me" Phun said.
"No..Da-Da" Klaus said from behind them.
"Did you just say Dada?" Phun said. They turned to look at him and noticed that he had a very determined look on his face as he let go of the coffee table and took a few quick steps before falling on his butt. Noh and Phun grinned ear to ear before getting up to go to him.
"Good boy, what a good boy you are." Noh said.
"Can you do it again?" Phun asked. "Can you walk to Papa?" He said helping him up. Klaus smiled and took a few steps towards Noh. Noh caught him and smiled, kissing his cheek.
