The past five years had been crazy, both good crazy and bad crazy starting with Pick waking up after getting shot by his father's evil goons who wanted pay back on Pick's mother who ratted him out to the police. Luckily, Pick made a full recovery and had no lasting affect. The kids were thrilled to have him back. They had been sleeping in their parents bed for about two months after that accident. They had some nightmares about that and definitely sent them to a therapist so that they can work through the feeling they have been having. Takoda wasn't loving therapy which wasn't a surprise to them.
Takoda wasn't really a person who really like talking he was more of a listener, though he did like to talk to his friends. He was usual a very quiet person but definitely had a personality. He was funny, charming, kind, caring, loving and an old soul. He make look a bit more like Pick but he definitely had more of Rome's personality.
London was still the same spirited girl, opinionated, stubborn but a little guarded after what happened. She doesn't trust people she hasn't met until she really gets to know them. Her therapist says it's normal for someone who goes through a traumatic experience to close up a little. Her therapist has been helping her get past it. She may look more like Rome but she had more of Pick's personality.
Speaking of London, Rome and Pick had a suspicion that London is a lesbian. They swore they saw her staring at another girl with longing in her eyes. They were okay with that and were just waiting to see if it was true. They didn't know if Takoda was gay or straight because he knew talked to any girls and hardly any guys unless they were childhood friends.
That all changed when one day at supermarket an American couple walked turned down the same aisle as them and it was like that little boy's mind exploded. He just stared at the little brown haired blue eyed little girl. She realized someone was staring at her and looked over at where she felt the stares. She saw him and just stared at him back before smiling at him. Takoda finally realized that he should smile back.
"Okay Romeo, let's go" Pick said pushing him forward. As the American couple and the little girl passed Takoda blushed and looked down. After they checked out and left the supermarket Takoda was really said that he didn't ask for her name.
"Little dude, you are ten years old and to young to date and I bet her parents think the same. If it was meant to be you will meet her again." Pick said.
"She's really pretty" Takoda said.
"Looks like big brother has a crush." London said.
"Shut up London" he said as the got into the car. London laughed but wouldn't be laughing long.
The next day, London and Takoda were playing on a playground while Rome was watching them from a bench. Pick was called in for an emergency surgery on a dog so he couldn't come with them to the park. As they played they didn't notices a girl who looked to be the same age as them come running up the stairs of the playground. London turned to go back towards the stairs and the two girls collided with London being on top of the little girl. The two girls just stared at each other as Takoda arrived to find out what happened.
"Looks like London has a crush." He said. London's eyes widen and she quickly got off of the girl. The little girl got up and brushed her dress off.
"Sorry" London said.
"It's okay, I'm Paris"
"I'm London and this jerk is my twin brother Takoda." London said.
"Hey!!" Takoda said but was ignored.
"Nice to meet you two" she said.
"Same here" London said.
"Do you guys want to play with me?" Paris asked. Takoda noticed his friends running towards them and smiled.
"My friends are here so I'm out." He said before running off to join them. London looked and Paris then smiled.
"I will play with you" she said. They ran off after that to play on the slides. Rome watch all of this go down and it made his suspicion of London being a lesbian even stronger.
Not my best but my fingers still hurt from last chapter. Last chapter was the longest chapter ever.
