Dealing With The Haters: Tharn and Type

Hey guys, I just want to warn you about this chapter, it's going to be a bit sensitive for people whose gone through sexual abuse so if it's to much then you can skip this chapter. I for one have been a victim of sexual abuse and really wanted to avoid this chapter but I know that it happens in the really world and that I want to bring awareness to it and see it end forever.

FIVE YEARS OLD

"What are you two talking?" Tharn asked. He had been making lunch for the twin since Type had gone back to his home town to help take care of his father who had hurt himself and was in the hospital, he noticed that it was too quiet. He went up to the twins room and heard them talking about a teacher they hated.

"Nothing" They said.

"Whose the teacher you hate and why do you hate them?" He asked.

"No one" They said. They were definitely lying to him, his kids were horrible liars. He was going to let it go for bow but he would be paying closer attention to them from now on.

"I'll pretend that I believe, lunch is read so head downstairs." He said. Blue and Moon ran past him and out of the room.  

Over the next few days the twins were acting more and more different from what they usually act. Blue had become even more shy and reserved then he was a few days ago and Moon had become angrier and more protective of Blue. He had finally reached the end of his patience after trying to get them to tell him what is wrong. Type was better at getting them to talk but his father was still at the hospital with his mother and father and he wasn't sure when he would be home. It was up to Tharn to get his children to tell him what was going on. He went into their rooms and sat down next to then on the floor.

"Blue and Moon, we need to talk"

"Okay" they said.

"Daddy wants to tell you that if anything is wrong that you need to tell Daddy right away and that it's not okay to lie or keep secrets from Daddy or Papa." He said making the twins look at each other before looking back at their dad.

"Do you have something you want to tell me?" He asked. The twins looked at each other again and Blue shook his head. Moon got a very determined look on her face before looking at Tharn.

"Daddy, Blue's teacher touches him." She said making Tharn's face pale. He quickly got himself together before turning to Blue who was looking down at his hands.

"Buddy, I need you to tell me what happened." He said to Blue. Blue shook his head and Tharn noticed tears fell onto his Superman shirt. Tharn picked him up and held him in his arms.

"Listen Bud, you are not going to get in trouble if you tell me what happened. Daddy needs to know so that he can get whoever did it in trouble and you won't have to see that person again." He said. Blue sniffed and lifted his head.

"Mr. Lionel touch me here" He pointed to his private parts and Tharn had to stop himself from finding Mr. Lionel and beating the shit out of him.

"Moon, why don't you go watch T.V. while I talk to Blue alone." Tharn said. Moon looked at Blue then looked at her dad then back at Moon trying to decide whether to leave.

"It will be okay Moon" he said. Moon nodded and left the room. "How many times did this happen?"

"Four times" he said. Tharn took a deep breath and held back tears.

"Where did this happen at school?" He asked.

"On the potty" he said. Tharn was pissed and sad about the news that his baby boy was sexually abused. Type would be devastated cause of what happened to him and that this was his baby. Tharn couldn't take it anymore and decided to call the police.

"Okay bud, why don't you go play with your sister?" He said. Blue nodded and wiped his face before heading downstairs to find his sister. Tharn burst out crying when he was positive his kids were downstairs. He couldn't breath, his chest hurt so bad and he wished that that this was all a dream.

"Hey you guys, I'm home" Type's voice said from downstairs. Tharn quickly tried to stop crying and calm down. He needed to be strong for his man knowing that this would probably break him. Tharn stood and wiped the tears from his face before taking a deep breath and heading out of the kids room. Type was hugging and kissing the kids when he came in. Tharn watched Type look up and froze when he saw that Tharn had been crying. Type stood after saying hello to his kids and went over to him. Tharn took his hand and lead him upstairs and into their bedroom.

"What's going on?" He asked. "Did someone die?"

"No, we need to talk though."

"You are scaring me, what's going on?" Type asked. Unwanted tears fell down his face as he made Type sit down on the bed with him.

"While you were gone Blue and Moon started acting differently and after days of trying to get them to tell me what was wrong Moon told me..." He said stopping to gather his emotions. "She told me that one of Blue's teachers touched him."

"What?" Type said shocked.

"I got him to tell me that his kindergarten teacher, Mr. Lionel had been touching his private parts about four times in the bathroom." He said before watching Type lose it. Tharn wrapped his arms around him and they both broke down. After they got themselves together they called the police and the police came and talked to Blue who told them what had happened and more that Tharn and Type couldn't stand to hear. They were glad that it hadn't lead to rape but they were still furious and sad that this happend to their child.

They days that past saw Mr. Lionel being arrested for child sexual abuse and charged with seven years in prison. Type and Tharn took their kids out of that school and put them into a private school that has all female staff and their family went into family therapy. Blue and Moon often climbed into bed with their parents after a bad nightmare and Tharn and Type would comfort them and let them sleep with them. Things were getting slowly better but it would never be the same again.

So I decided to just leave it there cause this is probably top five least liked chapters.
