Phun sighed as he made lunch for his family. Life was good right now and he was truly happy. Three years ago after many long conversations they decided to proceed with wanting to adopt a child. They started the process for it, they did all the paperwork necessary then more paperwork then a house check which they passed after they found a bigger house. After months of waiting they got a call about a teenage mother who saw their video and pictures and decided to go with them.

They were there for every check up and even help out with the finance side of things. Thing went smoothly for a while till the baby daddy showed up saying he didn't want to give up his child anymore, although he signed a document saying he was giving up his rights. Phun's family lawyer kindly told him that he no longer had rights to the baby, that lead to the baby daddy trying to convince the biological mother to keep the baby. The biological mother told him that she wanted to give the baby a better life. She sent him packing which made Phun and Noh feel better.

Zelda Phumipat Napat was born October 3, a beautiful baby girl. It was definitely an experience to raise a girl, two guys that knew little about how raise a girl were now raising a three year old. They thanked the females in their families for helping them with it.

After she was born Zelda's birth mother disappeared, it was a closed adoption but they still wanted to make sure she was okay. She just didn't want anything to do with Zelda and they understood that. She just wanted to live her own life but Noh and Phun would forever be grateful for her. Everyone loved Zelda including Klaus who adored her.

Klaus was definitely growing up into a very handsome man, looking and acting more and more like his dad every day, which drew the ladies in. Every girl in his class from what Phun and Noh witnessed wanted to be Klaus's girl. Klaus wanted nothing to do with them and instead focused on having fun and being a ten year old well until they got new down the street neighbors.

Klaus laughed as his friend Harley hit his other friend Sun in the back with a ball. They are playing an American game called Dodge Ball that Tiger taught them when he got back from his vacation from America. It was five against five and right now Klaus's team was winning. Klaus was surprisingly good at it even though his parents didn't play sports.

"Guys, I think someone is moving in next door to me." Amber, Harley's little sister said running up to them. They all looked at each other before Klaus ran to the front door of his house, opened it and yelled to his parent.

"My friends and I are going to check out the new neighbors down the street."

"Be careful and don't run in the streets." Noh said.

"Okay" he said before taking off with his friends. They ran down the block and hid behind a small fence. They all peaked over it to see a colored family moving into one of the fanciest homes on the block. The two colored parents were telling movers in fluent Thai where to put stuff inside. Klaus looked over to where a car door opened and two little girls got out. The younger girl was no more than five, clutched the older ones hand. She was cute but it was the older one he was interested in. She was really pretty, she had brown eyes, light brown lips and a button nose, her hair was free and bouncy. His Papa said it's called an afro.

Klaus had never particularly been really interested into girls but she was different. Something about her made him want her to be his. She apparently felt his stares cause she looked over to where they were and looked right at him. They stared at each other for a moment before Klaus smiled at her and in return she smiled back.

"Daddy, who are they?" The little girl with the pig tails said. The man looked over at them and that was their sign to get out of there. They all got up and ran back to Klaus's house. Klaus smiled the whole way back, he just got his first crush.

The next day, Klaus said goodbye to his parents and got on a school bus. He sat down on the only empty seat available. As they drove up the road he didn't think they would stop at his crush's house but they did and he watch her parents wave at her before she got on the bus. Everyone looked at her but she ignored them and walked down the isle, looking for a seat. She looked at him then at the seat and he quickly moved his backpack and she sat down next to him.

Klaus was trying really hard not to freak out. Here was his crush sitting next to him and she was looking really pretty even if she was in the school uniform. She had the same hairstyle as yesterday and it was still pretty.

"You were the boy from yesterday weren't you?" She said. Klaus nodded not trusting himself to speak. The girl smiled making Klaus bite his bottom lip to stop himself from telling her she had a pretty smile.

"I'm Brooklyn Thomas, nice to finally meet you."

"I'm Klaus Phumipat Napat" he said.

"That's a long last name" she said.

"Phumipat is my Daddy's last name and Napat is my Papa's last name."

"You have two dads?" She said excitedly. Klaus was happy that she didn't seem like the teens in Papa's music store who called Papa a freak. He was definitely going to keep the fact that he came out of his Papa stomach a secret till later.

"Yeah, I also have a little sister too." He said. "Her name is Zelda and she's three."

"My little sister is five and her name is Genevieve." She said. Klaus nodded before asking.

"How old are you?"

"Ten, how old are you?" She asked.

"Ten" Klaus smiled glad that she was the same age as him.

"You have a pretty smile." She said.

"I like your smile too" He said making Brooklyn smile. They talked some more about different things including where she came from. Her family was from New York but they moved a lot cause of her dad's job. Klaus asked her if she was going to move again and she said that this is where they were staying for a while. Klaus hoped that a while meant never.
