Meeting The Significant Other: Arthit and Kongpob

SIXTEEN YEARS OLD

I'm going to do something different for this one. I'm going to do part Kyla Joy, part her new bae and little bit of her parents pov just to let you know.

Kyla Joy laid in bed early in the morning and stared up at the ceiling, she knew that in an hour her dad would open the door and tell her it was time to get up for school. School. School was where her heart was broken into a million pieces and her trust in people other than her parents and ten-year-old brother was broken. School is where CJ, her girlfriend of six years told her she didn't love her anymore and had been seeing someone else. 

Kyla Joy was in shock after she said that she thought that they were happy together, they had even been talking about possibly getting married after graduation and moving out of their parents' houses. All that was over with, it had been months and she still wasn't over it. The breakup left her broken and devastated, she quit doing things she loved and became a shell of a person within two weeks.

Her parents tried to tell her that CJ was no good cause on the outside she was beautiful and smart and funny but on the inside she is crazy and manipulative and a toxic person. She had no idea how she didn't see it, maybe she just didn't want to see it since she was so in love with her.

Everyone just expected KJ to go back to how she used to be, but she is now realizing that person is dead, the free spirited, opinionated, loving, trusting, caring, kind person is dead. She was now this quiet, keep to herself, distrusting, distant person. She used to be a very open person and now she won't even tell her parents or little brother how she feels and hardly ever talks. Her parents tried making her go to therapy but she just sat there the entire session, so they stopped after a few sessions of her not talking.

Kyla Joy jumped a little when a small hand touched her arm. She looked over to see LJ standing by the side of her bed.

"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly. She just looked at him for a second before sitting up, she got up and rubbed the top of his head before heading to her own personal bathroom and closed the door behind her. She turned on her shower then removed her pajamas and stepped into it.

After her shower, wrapped in a towel she wiped the dew from her mirror and looked at herself. She was pretty with her long hair, her cute button nose which both her parents say she got from their side of the family, her eyes which she gets from her dad, her lips which she got from her papa. Why if she is so pretty, did the one person she loved not love her back? Refusing to shed another tear she left the bathroom and quickly got dressed into her uniform. After she was done getting ready, she headed downstairs for breakfast where her parents and brother were there already eating. She sat down next to LJ where her plate was and began to eat.

"You got that math test today, right?" Her dad asked. Kyla Joy just nodded before continuing to eat.

"Did you finish studying for it last night?" Arthit asked. Kyla Joy nodded not looking at them but then looked up when silverware was dropped on a plate.

"Kyla Joy Rojnapat Suthiluck, I know you are sad but we except an answer when we ask you a question." Papa said. Kyla Joy just stared at them for a second before putting her silverware down and standing up.

"Where do you think you are going, we aren't done talking!!" Papa yelled. Kyla Joy just picked up her backpack from the couch and left. She heard her dad tell her papa to just stop and then her brother ask why she won't talk anymore. She felt bad that she is pushing her family away, but she doesn't want them to see how far she has fallen into darkness.

Niko Suwan was one of the most popular people in the entire high school, he was captain of the soccer team and second place in his school only being beaten by one person. This girl that he heard used to be one of the most popular girls, but something happened and now she wanted nothing to do with anyone. Kyla Joy Rojnapat Suthiluck. What a beautiful name. He wondered if the girl was just as pretty as the name, he had heard that she is beautiful but for some reason they had yet to meet.
