Darkness rages in the heart
Of a boy once fair and true
Who grew dark with the start
Of the year so new
Shadows fill his every step
And haunt his mind
Yet he does not misstep
Now darkness will his heart bind
With every action taken
Against a girl's quiet spirit
Until her honesty is shaken
And her friend begins to fear it
The darkness of the young boy
Which grows stronger with each passing day
Strikes the heart of the little girl's joy
Trying to turn her heart gray
Yet the light of her friend shines true
And drowns out the darkness
And the darkness' host too
Back into the void's starkness
