Tears stream down my face
And my worries stretch to outer space
Every moment that passes by
Is another moment that is no longer mine
Caught in a whirlwind of pain
Feeling that all my life was spent in vain
No one to trust, no one to lean on
My closest friends gone
Destroyed inside, strong outside
In public my eyes are dried
Yet behind closed doors
The tears pour
Some for moments gone by
Others for my friends who lie
Friendships once built up strong
Yet they crumbled under words taken wrong
Lost, upset, and heartbroken
Left with words that should have been spoken
A girl left with destroyed emotions
To stare at friends on the other side of the oceans
Few friends are left with me
And secrets are kept them from with a key
Trust was built, trust was lost
And that came at a high cost
The cost of friends
Ones that were with you to the end
The cost to memories
All the new ones are filled with treachery
The cost of trusting friends to come
And the cost of those from where I was from
Lost in the betrayal of close friends
Who should have stayed with me until the end
