Icy Breath

Ice glitters all around

As a flurry of snow falls to the ground

Coating the land with its white breath

And young life receives an icy death

Yet when the light kisses the ice

It reveals a secret that has no price

Iridescent becomes the white land

Giving the place a feeling so grand

And showing that even if is not auspicious

The shimmering snow is not vicious

Its glitters in the warm winter light

Melting hearts in celebration of the snow's far flight

From places far to places near

And the ice crystals become clear

Winter's purposes to renew our hope

To continue up the icy slopes
