Please answer this! I have ideas for this book that could literally last like 60 more chapters, but am wondering who'd carry on reading for that long??
Also, before I start this chapter - these comments etc that I am making up for the purpose of the story are not at all meant to be offensive to fans of Palaye Royale. No one in the fanbase is like this! This is all made up.

PalayeRoyaleConfessions: Confession no. 118: Are the rumours about Remington cheating on Holly with Andy Biersack true? I've seen so much about this recently and I feel like he wouldn't cheat, but at the same time, it makes so much sense. Because he had to cover it up somehow, and so makes up all this stuff about Holly abusing him and (possibly) raping him so that we feel bad for him, when in reality, he's been an unfaithful whore, and turned everyone against an innocent person. Holly always seemed so sweet and happy and I met her last year and she would NEVER hurt a fly!

User 1: I am almost certain that the rumours are true. I don't know who originally said it, but it does add up, more than all this abusing bullshit, because Remington seemed fucking fine at the show I saw them at.

User 2: He gives me dodgy vibes tbh. Idk. Seems more like facts than rumours at this point.

If him or his brothers see this it's going to destroy them.

Remington has been nothing but open for us for years, and he needs privacy and support, and the moment you don't know every detail about his life, you create these awfully dangerous rumours that could really fuck him up. Except that's not true. They're not lucky, because Remington is on social media again.

And he's seen everything.

It's sometime after midnight, and the boy is in the bathroom with his phone, heart thumping as he reads all the awful things the are saying about him. It makes him sick. He begged them to take down confession pages and no one did. Does he have no one's respect anymore?

Did him being abused take away their respect for him?

He can't believe that fans of his band would actually tell him to kill himself. But if they want him to, then he should, right? That's how it works, isn't it? Fans want new music, they get new music. Fans want new merch, they get new merch.

Fans want Remington to kill himself, Remington kills himself.

The more he reads the less he can breathe, and he screams, dropping his phone and hitting his head hard against the tiles behind him.

Soon the light is on and Andy is kneeling in front of him, holding his hands. "You need to breathe," he instructs, "Remington, sweetheart, look at me, you have to breathe."

The boy is lightheaded. He shakes his head vigorously, telling himself that if he doesn't breathe then he'll die. Clearly that's what everyone wants. How happy would they be to read on the news that Remington Leith commits suicide in his bathroom at 3 am? He wants to make them happy.

"In for three, out for three."

Maybe he should just jump from the bathroom window, or drown himself in the bath, or slit his throat with a kitchen knife.

"Remington, honeyy, look at me. Breathe for me, come on, it's okay. You're okay, I just need you to breathe."

But then he thinks about Andy, about his brothers. How broken they were when he tried to overdose. He can't put them through the pain of losing him for real, can he?

It's not like they would be losing much.

"Please, sweetheart, don't give up. You can do it. Just one deep breath, nice and slow. Do if for me. I need you to breathe."

And he does, pained and dizzy, inhaling as slowly as he can manage, whimpering, and falling into Andy's arms.

The man rocks back and forth and strokes the younger's hair, startled and confused as to what caused this. "You're alright," he whispers, "just keep breathing. I've got you." His husband is shuddering against him and he tries to work out what happened. "I'm going to pick you up, okay?" Remington weakly nods, and Andy gets him to his feet, picking him up in his arms as though he's a child and going back into the bedroom. He carefully lies Remington down, getting in beside him and bringing the poor boy into his lap. "Sleep now, talk tomorrow," he whispers, and doesn't stop stroking his hair even after he's gone to sleep.

Andy is left worried and confused.
