The Hunt for the Power Stones

Chapter 4- Malik's Horror Awakening

Back at the Kingdom panic had started as the dead guards and missing royals were nowhere to be found. Malic had been woken up by one of his servants. "Prince Malik sir, you're needed in the King's quarters, there's been a murder and Kidnapping Sir." Malik got up confused, dizzy, and frantic over the news. He quickly put on some clothes and headed straight, to where he was needed. Once arrived Malik saw the devastating scene that was bestowed upon him, the dead guards, and a note on the bed. Malic picked up the note and read out loud " Hello brother, I hope you got to see the scene I left behind, I've taken our repulsive parents for what they've done, You will NEVER find us. I will make sure to make them suffer until they beg for death. I have taken the 10 stones and infused them into the great dragon and split up the stones, so don't bother trying you useless pig, enjoy what's left of your precious Kingdom." Malik was shocked at how his brother could ever do something like this. He didn't know what to do, he immediately ran to his mentor's place only to find the made dead in his bed, he fell to his knees crying, crying over all the loss he had just experienced. Malik stood up and thought to himself, "I will grieve another time". Malik remembered the training he had with his father and mage, he had to remain calm in the face of terror. He remembered a vault the mage said to open if he ended up dead, Malik opened a locked box under the floorboards and there was only 1 item. Inside was a book called "The book of stones". Malik had very limited knowledge of the stones as it was his brother that was the pursuer and gatherer of them. The mage had made a book with notes, dates, details, and locations of the other dragons and stones. Malik knew he needed to get all 10 stones if he wanted to take down his brother and the dragon to save his family. Malik knew his brother was working with the great dragon as the whole kingdom was in panic claiming Servic was riding the dragon with his unconscious parents behind. He knew he had to work quick, Malik had to give an announcement to the people as he was the new temporary king and to notify them of his upcoming journey. 

"I Understand everyone is devastated by last nights tragedy, I will do everything in my power to bring our King and Queen home and get justice for Columbus. " Malik had to go get his travel gear and "Book of stones" to beginTHE HUNT, Malic was so filled with an array of different emotions, hate, anger, sadness and fear. He feared for his parents, Malik had to gather 2 of his most trained Mercenaries and friends of himself and the Kingdom. Columbus had plenty of loyal soldiers to help with rebuilding and putting out the fires. Malik was on his way to the war room and begin the debrief with his 2 closest Allies, called James and Nathaniel, they laid out all the strong weapons they had and the book of stones, each person had a steel sword, Bow and arrows, Grappling hook and a Shield with the Columbus crest printed on it. Malik began explaining to his friends the plan and how they will be traveling. All they needed to know was where they needed to go.
