The Hunt for the Power Stones

Chapter 8- The Diamond Stone

Servic had been busy with keeping his parents alive but still suffer, At times he did feel bad but quickly reversed back to hate, He fed them scraps from the animals he killed. Servic would tell his parents all the plans he had for Columbus, with all the power he had and his friend Morpheus, Morpheus was quickly healing leaving a scar behind. One of the ways Servic would pass the time was to use his spear with incredible power to blow shit up and make huge craters. Servic also keeps occupied with constant check-ups with his crew by flying to them 1 by 1 on Morpheus. Soon to realize that Damos had been killed by Malik and that the ruby stone was gone.  

We return back to Malik and his friends soon to arrive at mount Jessepi, "The entrance to the cave is easy to find according to these notes". "What does it look like," said James, " It says here it shines brighter than the sun's reflection on a beautiful lake" said Malik. 

Once they reached the top of Mount Jessepi, Jeffery barked and the 3 men saw the brightest shine they've ever seen, at the bottom of the mountain was the entrance, before they started heading towards it, They had to plan. " What does the Diamond stone do," said James " The Mage explained that the dragon containing the stone was one of the most difficult dragons to fight but it had 1 weakness, it was pollen dust". The 3 men began scattering around gathering flowers to obtain this pollen dust. This dust is supposed to be blown or thrown at the holder of the stone. " The Diamond stone gave the holder the ability of Invisibility" said Malik, Once the group gathered enough pollen dust they made miniature smoke bombs and pollen dust arrows. Malik lined the face of his shield with the dust, and Nathaniel coated his sword with pollen. They were ready for anything. 

Unlike the volcano fight, this environment was very different, the walls and roof were filled with shiny clear crystals that made the cave feel alive, the smell was earthy, "keep your eyes and ears open boys" said Malik, Jeffrey had incredible hearing and smell, he sensed the presence of another person, he barked in the direction he felt was right, Malik knew not to doubt him and kept walking through the cave, WHACK!!!, came the sound of Nathaniel falling to the ground, James ran towards his friend and could feel he was still breathing, he'd been knocked out. Malik looked around for the culprit, " HAHAHA, you think you can outsmart me?" said a mysteriously familiar voice, " How would I know, if I cant see you". " well that's the point isn't it, the reason you've come." " COME OUT AND FACE US YOU COWARD!" said James after seeing his friend fall. " Jeffrey stay with Nathaniel and try to wake him up" said James. Malik knew he had to keep him talking , " So how does it feel to have such power" said Malik " Oh you couldn't dream of it" Malik could sence the sound of his voice and footsteps coming closer and closer, He raised his shield up to his chest and said " JAMES SHOOT ME " , James fired a pollen folled arrow into Malik's shield causing a huge pollen dust cloud causing the once hidden member to suddenly come to light, Caughing and running, Nathaniel was near the entrance where he got knocked out, Jeffrey was frantically barking and licking his face trying to wake him up, Malik and james both chased the hidden member that was heading outside, Once outside it would be near to impossible to find and invisible man, as he kept running and coughing he tried brutally to return back to his translucent state, he saw Nathaniel laying on the ground up ahead with Jeffrey by his side, Jeffery growled louder and louder as he got close to his friend then WOOOF!!!, A loud bark woke Nathaniel up and instantly knew what had happened and fired Nathaniel up and enough to throw his sword at the incoming enemy, going straight through his torso. 

" Exekias!!!, Why, Why would you do this, Why work for such an evil man." In Exekias's final breath he spat out " Power". Then out like a light, Nathaniel recognized him as they both trained together under the same King, until he began to fight the dragon war with Servic. His 2 companions met up to find Exekias dead with a blade through his chest, and just like Damos, out came the stone. A beautiful shiny Diamond stone that possessed the power of invisibility, Nathaniel quickly grabbed a cloth and gently picked up the stone and put it in its designated slot in the box.
